Services
Design and construction of Elm Grove started in the 1840's and was completed in 1856. Over the last 150 years the house has been home to a range of owners including Sirs, Captains and Majors. During World War II the main house also became home, and school, to a number of child evacuees from London - some of whom have been back to visit us and share their stories.
Our beautiful country house contains 11 individually decorated en-suite rooms, many of which are very spacious with high cornice ceilings and a mixture of modern amenities and period antique furniture. All of the rooms have views of the surrounding gardens, lawns or down the Ritec valley towards Tenby.
Elm Grove has a number of large public rooms all with beautiful original plaster cornicing, wood panelling, chandeliers, Adams fireplaces and other traditional touches. The original Georgian & Victorian features can be seen throughout Elm Grove and all the rooms have been sympathetically decorated in keeping with the age of the house.
Spending your holiday with us gives you the advantage of safe and easy parking away from the busy centre of Tenby, which is just 3 miles away. It is also an excellent location from which to tour many of Pembrokeshire's most attractive beaches and places of interest. We are just 3 miles from the wold famous Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and the Coastal Path.

Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Very traditional but not in the least stuffy. Great breakfast every morning and lovely staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful old, ornate building with elegantly furnished, spacious rooms. This is a delightful retreat after a hard day's holidaymaking. Alan and Jane's welcome is warm and friendly. If you want something a little different to the usual holiday accommodation, then Elm Grove House Hotel delivers.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon and it was just perfect. Alan, the owner, was so helpful in giving us recommendations of what to see and do and made sure we had everything we needed. I was 6 months pregnant and they made sure I I felt comfortable and had a nice time and even gave me an alcohol free rose which was really sweet. Breakfast was good and breakfast staff lovely too. The grounds were beautiful and a good area to stay in to see the beautiful sights of Pembrokeshire.

Amazing family holiday in cottage rental. A hidden gem offering relaxation, service, entertainment. Incredible location, just a walk from local pubs in a very friendly village. Very secluded location, safe for young children with a playground and entertainment for them. Great host who couldn't do enough to ensure our holiday was perfect. Without a doubt we will return and recommend to friends and family. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay here, Jane & Alan are absolute diamonds! We were warmly welcomed and shown around the property. This period bed and breakfast is well kept and has a wonderful entrance hall. A lounge open to the guests was well stocked with books and DVDs for guests to borrow. Our room was spacious and very well presented. The know suite shower was really great if a little noisy!

Our room had a tv and DVD player, a tea tray which was well stocked with tea and coffee. The added touch of loose leaf tea and a tea pot was nice. Nothing was too my trouble for our hosts which is a refreshing change, the breakfast was good. This visit was to celebrate our wedding anniversary, Jane & Alan put a lovely card and chocolates on our table which was such a lovely personal touch. We will definitely be back!

Loved it here. Had to book a break at very short notice due to a cancellation elsewhere. We were kindly welcomed, given great ideas of bits to do locally. The breakfast was great, the staff were ever so friendly accomodating as we're the owners. We had one issue with our shower which once mentioned was very quickly resolved, and even an apology note and small gift which was so kind and completely unexpected. The area is so quiet and beautiful, and we both slept so well. We hope to return!

Lovely warm welcome, the house is full of period features but not stuffy. Good breakfasts and the two meals we ate in were really good - locally sourced quality home cooking. Super comfortable intimate base from which to discover the beautiful countryside and coast. Alan has a wealth of local knowledge and can offer lots of ideas for days out depending on the weather!

Very nice little country house hotel. The hosts make you feel very welcome and breakfast is great. Excellent selection of information & advice about local attractions. Rooms very clean and comfortable (although our mattress wasn't brilliant and was uncomfortably soft).
