North Wales Hotel of the Year - Highly Commended. 'Cheshire Life' food & wine awards 2000-2001.
Services
The hotel has easy access via a gently sloping ramp to the front door. The ground floor is on a level, with the majority of bedrooms on landings directly accessed by lift. All accessible rooms with wet rooms are located in close proximity to the lift. We do welcome small to medium dogs by prior arrangement.
For stays of one night, add 8 per person per night to all the daily B&B rates quoted above and then a further 31per person for our AA Rosette rated four-course dinner. Please note: If there is only one adult sharing a room with two children (aged 0-15 years), one child is charged at the full adult rate.
Our two AA Rosette-rated food is fine and flavoursome, the ingredients fresh, locally sourced and lovingly prepared. The elegance of the dining room and subtly of the service are clearly apparent. Adorning the table fresh flowers, pressed linen napery in silver napkin rings, fine china and the heavy Sheffield steel cutlery signify the coming quality.
At the Dunoon we are unreservedly old-fashioned about what a hotel should offer; warm hospitality, genuine quality and great value for money. Food and wine are our abiding passions and affordability our guiding principle. Our service is personal and attentive rather than fussy and overbearing. Privately-owned with 66-bedrooms, the hotel is on Gloddaeth Avenue, conveniently located between the North and West shores of Llandudno. We have an AA four Star rating, while our restaurant has been awarded two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence.
