The Duke of Marlborough is a family friendly pub with rooms on the outskirts of Woodstock; offering a balanced pub classic and street food menu, well kept, local real ales, barista crafted locally sourced UE coffee, and a balanced wine list, consisting of a wide range of grape varieties from around the globe, all complimented by a cosy snug, two roaring log fires, and outside dining. Open for food and drinks from Monday to Sunday. Founded in 2020, Brewmish is an exciting and ambitious pub company headed up by Directors Chris Brewster and Mish Pharaon.

Inspired by the team's extensive travels around the world, the menu at the Duke focuses on exciting, vibrant street food dishes, alongside family friendly Great British pub classics. The kitchen team are continuously evolving menus to excite everyone's taste buds, and are passionate about using seasonal produce.
We are extremely excited to unveil our newly refurbished letting rooms. Our separate accommodation building consists of thirteen beautifully decorated, comfortable en-suite rooms. Each room has been thoughtfully named after animal habitats. The perfect place to stay when visiting Blenheim palace, Woodstock, Bicester village, Oxford or the Cotswolds. We encourage corporate trade and offer a stress free parking experience in our large on site car park.
The Duke of Marlborough wants to use its privileged platform to link up with charities with significance to our community. We are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with our good friend Richard Brailsford & Russell at the MND association to help raise money for an amazing cause. Motor neurone disease is a horrendous debilitating condition that attacks the central nervous system and kills more than half of those diagnosed within 2 years. You will be asked to add a discretionary 50p donation to your bill at The Back Lane Tavern throughout 2021.

Cannot fault this place. The staff, the food, the accommodation were all absolutely fantastic. Two members of staff that were i particularly outstanding were the Italian man and the Young lady with the red spotty skirt on! The best customer service I've experienced in a very long time. Well done all involved.

Really nice hotel, very quiet surroundings, lovely room and really great food. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. To be honest, I can't think of anything even slightly negative to say. In fact, when they had run out of veggie sausages on our first morning they made sure they had restocked by the next one! Highly recommended.

We've just stayed at the Duke of Marlborough for a few nights and we can only say positive things about our stay. We received a warm welcome and all the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. The room was lovely with great decor. Also loved the breakfast and the evening meals. We'll be back soon. Thanks again to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

6 of us booked a meal and we all had gorgeous meals. Food was so diverse which is often a concern when there's a lot to choose from as it usually means you expect a substandard/mediocre meal because of the quantity of prep the kitchen have to deal with, this certainly wasn't the case with our experience. All 6 of us chose differently and not one of us were disappointed. Highly recommend and as for the alcohol free options (and the bar options overall) very very happy!

Amazing refurb; warm, welcoming atmosphere; fantastic service and great tasting food (particularly impressed by the delicious special's meal)! Kids loved the food and trunk of games too (which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time even more)! Lovely decor and comfortable night's stay, with a great breakfast the next morning. Will definitely be back!

I give this top marks for the excellent standard of accommodation and service. Our party if 6 were welcomed with open arms and we felt like valued customers at every stage if our stay. The hotel is well sited just outside Woodstock which is a lovely little town and only a quick bus journey (bus stop right outside) away if you're doing the rounds as we were. Highly recommended.
