Very friendly and welcoming staff from check in to check out. We had 2nights in Otford Executive room which was immaculate clean with fresh towels etc each day. Evening meal was perfectly cooked and the staff made it a very relaxed atmosphere. Will be re booking next time I'm in this area.

Absolutely ridiculous! we arrived to find there was not one soul anywhere, not even other guests. i had to walk around the reception after around 15 mins of waiting in the lobby. i found some offices where this man (i thibk the manager was sitting) he is so rude! he shouted at me and told me to get out while i was just trying to find someone to help me. we then go to our room which was on the bottom floor l. decoration is okay but the room was unmade! we opened the door to an unmade bed and towels (soaking wet) all over the floor. the rest of our stay was not too bad, food was decent but nothing special. to be honest it was a really overpriced stay, would have been better in a travel lodge.

Absolutely lovely hotel, completely surpassed my expectations! The staff were absolutely lovely right from check in, and were very accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and a good size. I loved the way they lit up the outside of the hotel at night, not only did it make the hotel easy to find but it made it feel like we were at a tropical resort!

We also had afternoon tea at the hotel which I would definitely recommend. There was loads of parking and the hotel is in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay, it's a gem of a hotel!

We recently held our golden wedding anniversary at the manor and were delighted with the organisation before hand and during the weekend. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and the hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean.

Absolutely awful experience. We attended for afternoon tea for a friends 40th birthday. On arrival we had to search the building to find someone to tell then we had arrived. Reception was empty, the bar was empty and the dining hall had 3 guests in. Someone finally emerged from the kitchen and said ". you are in the bar." So back to the empty bar we all trotted.

We were seated and then left to our own devices for 20 minutes before being brought 2 afternoon tea platters (enough for half our party). At this stage we had not been offered drinks since arriving. Another 20 minutes went by and we were still sitting without drinks and without food for the remaining 4 of our party. Not a soul had been through the bar to even ask about the lack of food or drink.

At this stage I went off to find someone. When I found our waiter/front of house/kitchen staff (all rolled into one) I was told "I'm coming now" And dismissed to my table. I waited and told him (i unfortunately didn't catch his name) that actually I wasn't happy with what had happened so far with the service and that we really need to discuss this.

I was told "well I'm here now". We hadn't been asked about dietary requirements or or even if we wanted drinks. We made a joint decision to leave at this point. Ar which point I was told by the waiter "I will put this all in the bin." We were lucky another restaurant was able to cater for us at such short notice. There needs to be alot of change here before I would ever even give this place 2 stars. Such a shame.

Food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Service both in the bar and restaurant was good too, although being single handed at breakfast with a believed wedding party coming in space was a little tight. Restaurant was very place to be

Visited the supercharger there and it was very quick & efficient. Chargers are located right at the end of the car park. Go down the main drive, follow round to the left and the continue straight down that aisle. Beware, you have to register with the hotel reception and they'll record your car reg. if not you might be subject to a pcn. This IS NOT on any of the signage by the superchargers, as I checked twice.

However you can go into the bar/cafe area of the hotel whilst charging. The lobby is quirky and the cafe follows suit. Quick delivery of food, and it was tasty. Decent prices and a large menu too. I'm sure the hotel rooms are nice, from judging the rest of the location.

We have just a 3 day break at this hotel. It was absolutely amazing. All of the staff, especially Husam, were fantastic and made our Christmas very very special. We cannot fault anything about this hotel or the wonderful staff. Thank you for all your hard work and making our Christmas so happy.

A fantastic hotel. Lots of history as original building is a Tudor manor house. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and are modern and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be staying again. Very impressive overall.

Let's start with the positives. The room was great and clean. Shower was incredible. Beds lovely and comfy. Breakfast was really nice (apart from the 100% cloudy apple juice that was clear and watered down). Had some cocktails, they were great. Some members of staff were happy, polite and helpful. Couple of negatives. We stayed 3 nights. We only had house keeping once.

They did come a second time, but at around 5pm. Some members of staff need to be more friendly to paying customers. There were a couple of really grumpy people on both reception and in the restaurant. Finally, a few lights didn't work in our room. We told reception and they were not replaced during our 3 day stay. Overall though, the positives outweigh the negatives and this is a lovely place to stay.
