Daishs Hotel Daish's purchased Robinsons Holidays in 2020, a similar coach holiday business based in Lancashire which had been running since 1923, serving the North West of England. The business is now being rebranded as Daish's Robinsons and these holidays will now feature on the Daishs website giving all our customers more coach routes to choose from.

Further to our purchase of the Esplanade Hotel in Scarborough, we have now added another two hotels to the Daish's family. The Imperial Hotel in Eastbourne and the Abbey Lawn Hotel in Torquay.
Services
Our family of hotels and luxury coaches has been providing great holidays since Jeanne Wilson bought Daish's Hotel in 1979. Jeanne was already in the hospitality trade - as the owner of a small hotel - when she bought Daish's in 1979; her first coach followed five years later. Two further hotels - neither of which are still part of the group - were added in 1993 and 1999, before the company expanded further with the purchase of Torquay's Devonshire Hotel in 2001, followed soon after by the Bournemouth Sands Hotel (2005) and the Barrowfield Hotel (2007).
Prices and tour availability were correct when the holiday was added to your Wish List. Please be aware that the price and tour details may have changed since then and you will be charged the current rate for your holiday.

Lack of staff, meals slow, workmen on scaffolding , evening entertainment was ok but nowhere as brilliant, as last year was excellent

The staff were very welcoming, Hotel was very clean, our room was quite small, the shower was tiny, but the room was clean, but it was a little dated. The staff couldn't do enough to help us, nothing was too much trouble, the bar was very expensive, but overall, we would definitely go again, but go for a bigger room

On arrival went to our room first thing I saw was a blood stained pillow, as luck would have it house keeper on the landing, she changed it and said she would leave it out to throw away (went straight back in the linen cupboard for next victim).Divan base had the canvas ripped so mattress was dipping in the one corner, no mattress or pillow protectors.

No hot water literally no water coming out of the hot tap, all the above mentioned at the desk, no action taken. Restaurant the food was average, been to several Daishis hotels and this was by far the WORST other hotels the vegetables came out on separate servers so you can help yourself, not here just plonked on top, not very hot just luke warm, waiters keep forgetting what meal you ordered why have a pre order system. WIFI You can only receive when in the lobby, not everyone wants to sit in the lobby, want comfort of there own room catch up daishs UPDATE YOUR WIFI PACKAGE. GOOD THINGS Free parking if you arrive early otherwise 12 a day at nearby car park, entertainment bingo average bar prices. Sorry won't be coming back to Blackpool.

Room was warm even slept with window open as was too warm sometimes even with radiator off. Entertainment was good had a great time. Will deffernately be visiting this hotel again. Met some lovely people and enjoyed their company.

We'd been unsure about visiting this hotel since reading the reviews. It's not yet to the standard of some of the other Daishs hotels but you can certainly see where work has been done and still needs to be continued. That said, the staff were very friendly and were working under a great deal of pressure to give everyone the best service they could. The food was generally good and our room warm and comfortable.

Hotel is a bit tired and the lift was fashionable in the 1930s. That said the staff are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is 830 to 930 but service quickly and efficiently. Good quality food. The hotel needs investment as there are holes in the wall which aid ventilation but is cold in winter.
