Callander and the surrounding Trossachs National Park is a stunning part of Perthshire and one well worth dedicating some time to explore. There are an abundance of walks and activities in the local area and some of Scotland's greatest attractions are a manageable drive away.

Additional Information - As you will see, our charming hotel is located on the Main Street in Callander, which is a very busy town. Some of our rooms face the main road and for those that are particularly light sleepers, we would suggest booking one of our ground floor superior double rooms, or ground floor twin.

The Pub Report

Over the years the Crags has established itself as one of the cornerstones of Callander life, and while many pubs have had to close their doors, the Crags soldiers on as one of the most popular in town. The secret to our public bar's success is its size, which is no bigger the average living room, it is here you'll meet some of the local characters in the town.

Nice, friendly hotel on the Main Street. Very dog friendly hotel with dog bowls and treats in the room. Good size bedroom with plenty of room for our dog's bed. Lovely staff.

We stayed here last month for a couple of nights and it was fantastic! Lovely clean rooms and we had a brilliant view of the Crags from our room. Great wee bar and delicious breakfast and evening meals too!

Popped in for a meal at the restaurant and i got to say this hotel/bar n restaurant was great the staff were lovely friendly and nothing was a bother food was hot and tasty

Great location, hotel nice with great breakfast and lovely Indian meal. All staff friendly. However we picked the wrong time of year to go. Some shops already closed for the season, cafes etc doing reduced hours. Not many places for an evening meal.

Lovely hotel, beautifully decorated rooms with plenty of space, clean as a pin. Helpful staff with a smashing bar. Breakfast at their sister hotel The Waverley was delicious. Freshly cooked with quality ingredients and delightful quick service.

Shambolic is a good term for this place. There was no one when we arrived. There were lots of people waiting. We were put on the top floor in only what could be defined as a bedsit. The sinks didn't empty and the ensuite miniscule. Can't recommend at all.
