Lamphey Court Hotel

Rooms are relatively clean however need a huge renovation and makeover. Shower barely worked and had very poor water pressure. There was no hand soap either. I will not be coming here again.

The location is lovely, beautiful setting, and the spa treatment and pool is very nice. The food was very nice, both for dinner and breakfast. However, the service is pretty poor. In the restaurant, a server accidentally poured a drink over my friend, and although did apologize, didn't really clear up the table. And at checkout, my room was charged incorrectly, but was eventually fixed.

But the worst was when my friends were accused of damaging a light when it hadn't been working when we arrived, and had pictures to prove it. For twenty minutes, Catherine, the operations manager, accused my friends of this damage, in front of other guests which was very embarrassing. My friends ended up being charged fifty pounds, only for the manager to call seven minutes later, while we were on the road, to cancel the charge. This couldn't have been done while we were there? Poor service, would not recommend the hotel, which is unfortunate as it is a lovely location.

Beautiful hotel. This place is screaming out to be made into luxury accommodation. We had a superior room this was comfortable but nothing special. We booked a meal for 2 nights but I cancelled the 2nd night, as the food was basic pub food. Staff are friendly and helpful. This place is dated. I expected so much more but it felt more like a care home.

We had a wonderful time again, everybody is kind and helpful even when working there butts off to please everyone. Food in restaurant lovely we are addicted to the mushroom starter, the mains are all tasty enjoying specials too and the cheesecake yummy. The spa massage wonderful, swimming pool etc great for exercise. Fabulous time.

Poor service, breakfast, greeting non existent. Spa fully booked despite leaving many messages to book treatments. Disappointed visit, spoke with the manager before leaving to point out the cobwebs and dead flies by the window in dining room, and generally unhappy with our visit. Was offered an excuse of staff shortages.

Was looking forward to a great stay in this very lovely looking building. Very disappointed with the overall stay. No sauces or side options on the menu, not a great welcome by front of house, pump beer was not good. ( undrinkable). Nobody at pool reception to show us where to go. A guest did however. Absolutely gutted as it is a top end price per night. Will probably not return.

Superb! The family rooms were very spacious, staff were friendly and always smiling and couldn't do enough for you. The spa is lovely too. Thanks for a fantastic stay.
