One of the best hotels we have stayed in! Had a lovely big deluxe room with a very comfortable bed! The owners Lloyd and Jules were the perfect hosts, so friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing as was our evening meal. Lloyd Was also the chef and the little extra touches added to the wonderful experience of dining here. Thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Thankyou both for making our stay so memorable.

Warm, welcoming and attentive this is what this hotel represents. I work away a lot and this is one of the nicest places I have stayed in in a very long time. Apart from the welcoming you need to visit here for the food, the chef goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. I would recommend this hotel to friends, family and colleagues alike. See you again soon. Andy Wheeldon.

I have to travel all over the world with my food business and I have seen some fantastic places. At the end of any day you need somewhere to stay. The Cluny Bank Hotel is a gem. The Hotel is small and inviting and the hosts add to what makes this place special. If you want a personal touch Julia and Lloyd hit the mark. I am in the food business and Lloyd will impress any Foodie with his dishes and discussions. I came here for work and felt like I was on holiday. Thank You.

I had the pleasure of attending a Christmas lunch at the Cluny Bank Hotel and I have to say, it was simply stunning. The hotel itself is lovely with a real home-like feel and an air of distinction. The food was first-class and was served by friendly staff in a lovely, comfortable dining room. The chef had obviously put his heart and soul into each dish and was overjoyed when he saw that we had savoured every bite. This is an outstanding hotel in a lovely town and I would recommend it to anyone.

We recently visited the Cluny Bank hotel and loved it. A nice, smallish hotel in a stunning building. The owners are very friendly and interested, which makes a stay almost like visiting your friendly uncle. Don't even bother looking for other restaurants, because the cooking is top notch at very good prices. I would certainly like to visit this one again!

Well, from the moment you are greeted by Lloyd and Julia you are welcomed to their home with unbounded enthusiasm. Our room was well appointed with period features and very comfortable (which helped a lot since I walked the 45 miles of the Wolftrek charity walk using CB as my base). The restaurant is discrete with only guests or pre-booked tables available. Chef's knowledge and skills are evident from the outset and each course is explained in intricate detail, tempered by Julia reminding him that he has to retreat to the kitchen sometimes!
The Lounge is intimate and we were lukcy to be joined by Lloyd and Julia for after-dinner banter and story-telling. So, if you want 400 identical rooms, uniformed staff and headed-paper, go somewhere else. If you want sincere attention, excellent food and a damn good stay, then Cluny Bank MUST be your destination! "Thanks, buddy". Terry and Julia
