For the price there is nothing special about the hotel. Valet to park (we didn't use) and my wife liked the bathroom. They were the main positives we came away with. The food was ok. Not good. Not bad. They also like to cook with a lot of butter. Puddle of it on the plate

Our Michelin Dining experience was very disappointing, the restaurant lacked atmosphere and the Tasting Menu was over-rated and over priced. Not great value for money compared to other 5 star hotels in Ireland, I would rate this hotel a 4 Star. The rooms and hotel overall felt outdated and didn't have the 5 star wow experience.

Gorgeous hotel. Location is fantastic with amazing views from the rooms. Food and service was fantastic. The spa offered great choice of treatments and the pool was great. Overall, the perfect romantic getaway.

Amazing experience. Had the tasting menu. Food was an experience. A lot of it I didn't like- I'm not a shellfish/roe fan, and quite a lot of it, but I expected that given its location. Having said that my husband benefitted from my extras, and you couldn't fault the genius of the food. I found the service a bit overpowering, we had something like 14 plates, each little course announced and explained in so much detail, but then regularly someone else would check if it was okay, was a bit much.

Mind you staff were lovely. Noticed in another review disappointment at being seated by kitchen, I could see how that might happen. We went for early sitting so sitting at the window, so recommend that. Would highly recommend as a treat, as the chef and his/her kitchen are in a class of their own. Has to be experienced.

We had a great stay in the Cliff House recently. We found staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent to say the least! The breakfast was dare I say the best I have experienced in any hotel. Room was slightly on the small side but surely makes up for it with the decor and sea view balcony. We would definitely recommend and be very confident that we will return again.

Beautiful location, staff service is top class. From arrival to check out you are made feel so welcome and valued as a guest. Food was amazing. Rooms were very spacious and your own balcony gives the full fresh sea air experience. Highly recommend

The rooms are very nicely finished, but not spectacular. The staff are fantastic and the food is good, very good and worth visiting for alone. For me the only negative is parking.its an absolute disaster. Still I can thoroughly recommend the Cliffhouse for that special occasion

Fabulous day here in the spa, Alannah gives an amazing massage and was so pleasant. Lunch was lovely. little disappointed that the relaxation room is gone but jacuzzi was fab. Bottle of water would have been a nice touch as would a towel which we had to ask for. It's the little things.

Stunning hotel with great amenities and service. Absolutely gorgeous food and spa was well worth the visit, especially the sea weed one is well worth the money. Nice cliff walk and couple of great arty shops near by.

Lovely location for a Sunday Lunch. Beautiful views from the dining room even on an overcast day. The staff are professional and welcoming. The Sunday lunch menu is brief and all the better for that. Overall the food is top class and the wines excellent.
