This place never disappoints. Great location, beautiful rooms, incredible food, modern and yet has the atmosphere of a bygone period in history. All you need for a weekend away to relax or use as a base for exploring the north coast. Ive experienced in both vacation and business trips and was not disappointed. Had some business colleagues from foreign parts stay also and they couldn't wait to get back with their partners for a vacation.

Breakfast here was spectacular. It was quiet and pleasant. The layout itself made it feel rather motel-ish with the accessible doors behind the building to get inside. Our experience with staff at checking in was variable. One staff member was superb and took care of anything we requested, with another telling us that if we wanted the complimentary water that is normally brought up to the rooms every day during turn down service, we would have to pay. Thankfully the staff member who originally checked us in had water brought up without hesitation. A pleasant experience, that is homey and nicenice!

Visited the Gas bar for tea on Sunday. What a disappointing tea. Chowder at 15:50 was a creamy styled soup with scrawny slivers of fish and four small cubes of potato. One half slice of bread. No butter. Side of leeks 4:50! Awful. Totally overpriced. Poor quality, consistency and tasted over salted. Definitely not local produce or quality ingredients used. Tasted like Pre bought and re heated meals. Ridiculous prices for what was basically soup and a half bit of bread. "Shepherds Pie" was mostly piped potato on mince. No side served and nearly 17. Staff were friendly but also said prices were high

When had organised as a family to go on Xmas day to the Bushmills Inn. My mother, brother and partner and myself at 135 /head. My mother has advanced parkinsons disease and 3 weeks previously to Xmas she had a bad fall which affected her profoundly both physically and mentally. Her appetite basically dropped to 25% of what she ate previously. She was and is in a very bad state.
In fact her mental problems so bad she actually didn't attend on Xmas day. 2 weeks before Xmas I rung the establishment. I explained my mothers situation in a very polite manner. I asked because she wasn't eating could they switch her the childrens menu which still cost 70. This was flatly refused saying 'no refunds given'. At this point I would have cancelled but we had no choice but to attend.
On Xmas day we had out meal and at the end I explained what had happened to manager. Understand I didn't ask for and did not expect anything. I just wanted to make my point. The manager didn't really say anything. Just that it wasn't his responsibility and that he knew nothing about it. I left my details in case anybody wanted to ring and apologise but unfortunately I have heard nothing.
Really put a downer on the day and my view of this well respected establishment has been permanently and irrevocably damaged. In regards to the day itself the service was excellent. The food was also also fine but it certainly wasn't 135 fine. For that cost you expect something really special but it was not special. Thanks for reading Update: still havent had a phone call to apologise

Hi. I have emailed you on numerous regarding a refund on a Gift card I purchased last Christmas for my nephew who is a double amputee and an inspirational young gentleman. However, due to Covid, operations chronic pain he has been and will not be using the Gift card. I have literally begged you for a refund which would be more beneficial. I'm having eye and cancer operations and the stress is not helping me. I would appreciate a favourable reply ASAP. I WAS NEVER told when purchasing the Gift card that it was not refundable. Thank you so much. D

A wonderful two night stay at this lovely hotel. Our en suite room was really comfortable with a small seating area as well as desk and chair in the room, a good size bathroom and walk-in closet. The food was excellent - we availed of a deal that included one night's dinner. The breakfast menu likewise featured good, tasty local produce. The character of the hotel with its nooks and crannies, and old fashioned (in the good sense) bar added to our enjoyment.
But what made our stay was the friendly, helpful and courteous staff, several of whom are relatively young but understand what good service is. A real delight. This was our first visit and we're already planning the next. In terms of location, we enjoyed visiting several art/craft shops in the village as well as having this as a great base for exploring the Causeway Coast area.

If you have a chance to stay here, I highly recommend it. I enjoyed the location, the bed and the quaint decor. The restaurant was delicious and the cozy fireplaces and lounge was adorable. It was definitely my husband's favorite place to eat on our trip. We loved how quaint the town was after dark, we felt completely safe. Cannot recommend it high enough.

On our second to last night in Ireland, my husband splurged and wanted to surprise me with a stay at this quaint and old Inn in Northern Ireland, one of the premier spots to stay. The Inn has a restaurant and bar lounge with live music and there are fireplaces throughout the property. When I found out how much he paid for the room I was in slight shock.
I guess the only room left at the time of booking was a large two story suite with a loft bedroom and bath, and a living room and bathroom downstairs. The accommodations were rustic wood with modern touches, tiled bathroom, etc. We arrived at the property later in the evening so we dined and then listened to live music in the lounge. The bed and linens were the finest in all of our Ireland stay, but the large King bed was divided with two mattresses.
The view from the suite was looking into the interior garden and was quite peaceful, charming and breathtaking. For the price of the stay, I expected things like unlimited complimentary bottled water, and hotel staff at desk when items were needed after hours. I did love the calming balm that was put by our bedside, a mint/herbal balm to rub on temples prior to sleep, definitely the best nights sleep of the entire trip.

Amazing restaurant. Despite the Douchebag American golfers ruining the atmosphere at the bar, we found the live entertainer there to be a fantastic musician and person. In the restaurant itself, the food, service and atmosphere were all great. This is a special place. Even if you're not staying at the inn, this place is a must for dinner. We went back two nights in a row.

I come to eat here (and sometimes stay) every time I am in Ireland (just had my 9th trip, so I come often). Top-notch service and food-consistantly. Tucked in a quaint Bushmills Village, this venue boasts large dinning room, cozy bar, beautiful outdoor patio, live music, and great accomodations. As they say in the UK, Bril

Set beside the River Bush and a short walk from the must-see Bushmills Distillery, Bushmills Inn dates back to the 17th century. Of course, rooms are of the all mod cons variety. I had a very restful time there and would not be against another visit. When a friend had heard I was going, she told me she'd had the best steak of her life at the Inn. Sadly as part of the junket, it was all buffets and pre-arranged meals for me, none of which included steak. However, I did had a lovely cooked breakfast on my last morning at the Inn, which suggested to my tummy and taste buds there was fine food on offer there.
Beyond the historic distillery and the lovely accommodations, the otherworldly Giants Causeway and quaintly snug Ballintoy Harbour made for incredibly scenic side trips from the Inn. So, the husband and I found ourselves in the unusual position of having an overnight baby sitter. Oh the joy, the world was our oyster and the hours before 9am the next morning were ours, ours, ours. We could have settled for a night out, but we decided to really push the boat out and go away for the night, and carefully ignored the smutty sniggering from our less refined friends.
We decided on the Bushmills Inn and booked a double room. Imagine my delirious excitement when the very friendly young chap at reception told us we had been given the bridal suite. We waited for him to say 'suckers, only joking', but that didn't happen and he did indeed give us the keys to one of the best suites in the hotel. It was just beautiful, a huge room with vaulted ceiling, massive bed and a full size sitting area with an open fire.
All of the furniture and curtains etc were plush and luxurious and I could have spent all my time in the bathroom. The bathroom was also huge, very traditional in style with a lush free standing slipper bath. The rest of the hotel was lovely too and we had to work hard to get round and sit in all the public areas - the bar, the library and the sung downstairs.
We ate out elsewhere for dinner but our breakfast next morning was fab - the full Ulster and it was tasty, not greasy and beautifully presented. All in all our one night stay was pretty much perfect - good service, good food and a wonderful room. I would absolutely recommend the Bushmills Inn for an overnight treat for locals and tourists alike.
