Whether it's for a drink, dinner, a weekend break or a round of golf we want you to enjoy the Brown Trout experience. At the Brown Trout Inn we know that relaxing means different things to different people. For some, food and drink is all-important. Our menu offers fresh locally sourced produce ranging from 'taste of Ulster' favourites like honey-grilled gammon and buttery champ to slow-roasted lamb shanks and not forgetting fresh fish, including grilled trout of course.For others, putting their feet up is the closest thing to heaven.
Services
The Brown Trout has a combination of hotel rooms graded 3 star and cottage suites graded 4 star. The bedrooms are in a courtyard adjacent to the main building and are laid out in Americanstyle with two double beds, with an extra guest bed available if required. All but two bedrooms have baths and separate walk in showers.
Along with golf, fishing, holding small conferences and team building we can organise micro light lessons, parachute jumping, go-karting, water skiing all within 10 minutes of the Trout. At the coast surfing and deep sea diving and sea fishing is available during the summer months. The selection of walks are endless.
The Ulster American Folk Park is situated 3 miles North of Omagh on the A5. The Folk Park is an outdoor Museum, which tells the story of emigration to North American in the 18th and 19th Centuries. The Old World and New world layout illustrates the various aspects of emigrant life on both sides of the Atlantic.

Held our daughters wedding service followed by drinks and canapes last week. From initially discussions to execution on the day we could not have asked for better. Wedding service took place below the Oak tree in the grounds and it was truly magical. The weather was so good we were able to eat and drink on the terrace, food from Chef Alex was second to none, guests who had booked accommodation where blown away by how spacious and well designed, especially for those who needed disabled access, the rooms were. Cannot thank Jane, Lynne and all the staff who served in the day you all made it very special. Thank you Derek and Siobhan Ferguson-Smith

Great service, warm friendly atmosphere, comfortable environment, rooms well kept and tidy. Food was very tasty and priced fantastically. The owners of the Brown Trout prove exactly why we should all try and support local business. Excellently run with great staff who couldn't do enough. I will be back.
