We had a lovely spacious comfortable room with a fabulous view from the balcony. It was a very relaxing holiday with a great breakfast. The restaurant was excellent and all the staff at the hotel were very professional, helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we look forward to returning there.

We stayed for 5 nights. The room (212) was clean and quiet, the position good. We were told it was a large room with a view across the marshes. It was so small we had to remove a chair to get access and the window unit was blown, so when open, which it needed to be because it was very hot, you couldn't see the view. The bathroom was huge and well appointed but the button for the loo was impossibly stiff.
We mentioned both items but there was no feedback from staff on either so we felt disappointed. I think if they had got back to us we would have felt our concerns were dealt with. The restaurant is in a fabulous position and the food was good and the staff helpful. One complaint was dealt with efficiently and we felt well served. We would return, but feel that the hotel could do with some maintenance to justify the prices

Stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in room 107 so had a sea view and a balcony (the balcony is small, just big enough for two people to sit). Room is spacious with a large bed (firmish but comfy) and seating. Dogs are welcome but entail a small additional fee. You can take your dog anywhere except the restaurant, though you can eat in the lounge, where dogs are allowed.
We ate in the restaurant for breakfast each day, once in the evening and once for a Sunday roast. Each time the food was great. Only criticism I could have is the fried eggs always seem overdone. If you like a runny egg then I'd suggest going poached. Staff were always friendly and helpful. We did leave some feedback - room 107 is above the restaurant.
The restaurant opens at 0730 and starts playing music at that time and you can clearly hear it in the room. It doesn't seem loud when you're in the restaurant but the speakers are high mounted and there's a separate bass speaker almost touching the roof. If you're a light sleeper then I'd suggest you stay in a different room. Overall I'd definitely recommend the hotel and I'd happily stay again

The reception staff were very helpful in helping find a space to park and allowed me to check in a little early. The room was very comfortable with a lovely view albeit partial due to being directly above the front canopy but still a lovely view. The bathroom looked freshly renovated, was spotless and the towels huge. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and service was excellent. My only issue was that the duvet was really thick which is not to my taste, so I removed the cover and slept under that. Would love to stay again.

The hotel is right by the beach and we had a wonderful room overlooking the sea. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant very much indeed. Every member of staff was warm and friendly and could not do too much to make our stay enjoyable. Sadly my husband became unwell during our stay and was taken to Ipswich hospital. The hotel staff were so helpful, concerned and kind and I really appreciated their support. We will definitely return to the Brudenell.

Stayed for 2 weeks in December. First visit to the UK. hotel was clean and spacious. housekeepers were super nice and did a great job daily. concierge was helpful answering questions about where to do outside laundry and dry cleaning. ate many times at the restaurant, lots of gluten free choices for breakfast and dinners.

Very nice hotel right on Aldeburgh beach. We had a superior sea view room which was spacious with a very comfortable bed and armchairs overlooking the sea. We ate both nights of our stay at the hotel restaurant, the service was OK, some of the staff need more training as some of our orders were forgotten and at times service was quite slow. Some of our food was also cold but they were accommodating when I wanted to change some of the food on one dish. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will probably be back.

We just had the 2 for 1 fish and chip lunch which had been gifted to us and whilst the ambience and the staff were lovely, the food was disappointing. Frozen Pollock which I think this was, and big oven chips were not what we expected. We would not have been happy to pay full price for this. We also have vouchers for a cream tea so will try this at another time. Lovely views, and spotlessly clean.

We eat here quite regularly as it's so lovely looking over the beach and sea. The food is always very good, the staff very friendly and we like the general ambiance of the place and dining outside in the warm weather. I would have given 5 stars but we were a little disappointed yesterday to find out, when having our lunch there, that they are discontinuing their 10% discount crag and crab card which we've been using since they first introduced it. Obviously this isn't why we go there as 10% off isn't a fortune, but it was a nice sort of loyalty discount for regular customers.

Very disappointing stay in late November '21! On this occasion the heating was broken in the main double seaview bedroom and the heated towel rail in the bathroom equally not working. Staff could not get the heating to work and the maintenance chap I was told was not due back on duty until the following morning when I was due to check out. I asked the reception if there was another seaview room but there wasn't another available.
Staff said heating working in room either side of mine so I got the opinion they thought that was okay? Threadbare carpet in the bedroom - large area by the bed. Black mould on the silicone beading along the internal window frame didn't make me feel I was staying in anything luxurious. On to breakfast the sausage was cooked but stone cold and the bacon again cooked but looked and reminded me of the texture of leather!
Not crispy bacon! just very tough to chew! Poached eggs were okay. I was told I could have a late breakfast I appear to have paid the price in terms of the quality of that breakfast for choosing that option.
