What an amazing experience, spa, treatments and lunch. Greeted by Gail, excellent customer service, nothing was too much trouble, Amber, Emma, Wendy, perfect hosts, amazing lunch with complimentary prosseco, beautiful scenery and the whole complex spotlessly clean, and very reasonable price. Afternoon tea was served in the restaurant. The restaurant is a bit rigid, with rows of tables, a bit canteenish. It would have been more of an experience if it had been served in a lounge, with sofas and arm chairs. That said the tea itself was delicious and the staff helpful, friendly and professional. A good selection of sandwiches and sausage rolls, with four different mini desserts and scones, with jam and clotted cream. The scones were a tad short, which made them crumble, however they tasted ok. Lovely food, but the setting could be better.

An honest review (1) The hotel pool was full and we had to wait hours to get in (maybe they prioritize paying day customers?). (2) Our room was next to a maintenance/laundry room which was very noisy from early in the morning. (3) The staff are all very young and therefore inexperienced (not their fault!). (4) The steam room smelt very very bad. (5) The vast majority of rooms are pet friendly and dogs regularly stay in the rooms (make of that what you will!).

Bath OK if your a midget, can either sit up or have your legs bent to lay down, toilet seat loose, bathroom cramped, fish n chips awful, fish not cooked properly, chips not much better either, breakfast buffet luke warm and can't have coffee pot left on table they pour and take it away although tea pot allowed to stay, toast looks anemic, would defo recommend tea n scones. Anita (chaimbermaid) really helpful, young trainee in bar/restaurant with really short hair the most helpful person there, poor/slow service in the bar after 530pm. Bed comfy, TV signal poor keep losing TV programmes very frustrating, wouldn't stay here again.

Worst Christmas Party night I've ever been to. No atmosphere. Crammed in too many people and tables. Dance floor not big enough for the amount of people. Terribly slow service at the bar. Miserable woman (Sheryl) told us off for a taking this photo of our group of friends at what could only be described as a photo back drop. No music until after the food. Such a disappointing night. Left before the end it was so bad. Just lucky we didn't book hotel rooms too! Waste of money.

Attended for the Christmas party, down the rabbit hole with friends. The room and theme was decorated beautifully! However the Meal started late and we waited so long between courses. The food was ok, but nothing amazing. The bar staff were incredibly slow and because everything took so long, there was just under 2 hours of dancing! Also drinks were completely over priced! 21 for a bottle of wine! Overall, not impressed and would not book again. I didn't stay over night, however I have done in the past for weddings and the rooms are lovely and clean and overall I would be happy to stay again for another wedding.

We used the hotel for an overnight stay for a nearby wedding. We used the pool and spa facilities which were a lovely bonus. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and the staff were helpful. Room was a decent size with a huge bed overlooking the golf course. Restaurant prices ( although we didn't eat in there) were also reasonable.we looked because we will come back to this hotel

Husband took me for an overnight stay for my birthday. Room was amazing and we were lucky enough to have good weather so were able to enjoy breakfast on the balcony which overlooked the golf course. Nice bar to relax and have a drink and, although the restaurant was a bit 'open', the menu was great and the food delicious. We were hoping to return for our anniversary this year but, for personal reasons, had to cancel. Will definitely be looking to go again in the future though

Down side.steam room was out of order and if you're not a size 14 or below bring your own robe or you won't be comfy.that said. Great food, nice staff and such a nice break to have with my best friend. The massage lady was one of the best I've had.definitely top 5 so I'd go again just for her! Relaxed atmosphere. Hotel needs a little tlc.but after such a tough couple of years who doesn't!
