Paul Barrett is the Owner, and has extensive experience in the hospitality and catering industry including working with top hotels and restaurants, but now dedicates his time to Grove House. Delicious home cooked breakfasts and evening meals, using fresh local produce are served daily in a bright and airy restaurant. The licenced bar, though small and cosy, offers local beer and a selection of wines and spirits. A new bar and TV area is available for guests to relax in, and is popular in the evenings for a pre-dinner drink, or an after dinner coffee and brandy.

Friendly and warm staff. Good location to various good places to visit. WiFi iffy. Cleaning of washroom and making up of bed shoddy. Sharp nail under the bed that I caught accidentally and cut my toe. Adequate if all you want it is a place to shack upto sleep. TV services also not good in my room with lots of disruption and pixels.

Very smart looking hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, decent sized rooms with nice bathrooms. Everything in the hotel looks newly refurbished, with a clean fresh feel to everything, bed was very comfortable, great breakfast and the meals in the restaurant were delicious. Plenty of car parking space, a nice garden area to the rear with gazebo and seating. Handy for the town and general area. Overall, a very nice & relaxing place to stay.

My son and I were on a walking and cycling holiday in Suffolk and stayed at Grove House for six nights. The accommodation was excellent, we had a small concern pre visit regarding noise from the A12 but with quadruple glazing our room was very quiet. The breakfast and dinners were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for Rory and Paul during our stay. We hired bikes from Crown Cycles in Great Clemham, again the storage facilities were first rate. Thank you Paul and the team for providing the base for a terrific holiday.

Excellent place to stay. Family run and lovely breakfasts Room was excellent lovely shower in the en suite. Kettle tea coffee milk all available and unlimited. Only slight downside was the front is very close to a dual carriageway which if it's hot and you want the window open is a bit noisy. Triple glazed if your ok with windows closed and a fan is provided. Plenty of parking Lovely welcome would happily stay again.

We had a spacious and very clean room on the ground floor. Although the hotel is on the main road it was very quiet with very good double glazing. Breakfast was really good. The selection for the evening meal was not big but we had a pleasant meal. Lovely place for explore the area for a short break. Thank you Paul.
