Bridge House Hotel

I just want to take the time to give the Bridge House hotel a 5 star review we just returned home from the bank holiday weekend away and it was for my big birthday celebrations, we started to plan back in October with Geraldine and she had been fantastic with all out requests and some changes in-between she was so understanding, the rest of the staff at reception were so polite and helpful, we then checked in and I had a lovely surprise of birthday treats in my room was a lovely touch.

As the weekend contuined we had a spa day booked with Liz and her staff and it was amazing from start to finish us mammies felt amazing and so relaxed. We then used the pool facilities which were brilliant and staff so pleasant and again so helpful. We then had food throughout the weekend in the balcone and the bistro where Catherine and her staff were amazing Conor and Ryan were just fantastic they went above and beyond the service fantastic and food was delicious, the bar Man was a gentleman he was so kind to us all provided our own reserved area for each evening.

The household staff were amazing so helpful and informative and keep a very high standard throughout the hotel. I would have to say every staff within this hotel should be very proud of themselves after the last couple of years we have all had this being our first trip away we felt like royalty there was never a no I can't. everything was yes that's no problem or how can I help this was just fantastic.

We will be back again for another visit and I really look forward to booking with Geraldine and her staff again. Thanks so much for making my birthday so special with all my lovely friends and family

Gerry and Dolores. From our check in time with Laura, it felt so wonderful got a beautiful room on floor 4 that had been newly updated. Staff in every department were so kind and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend it. the location is great within walking distances of shop and pubs.

Stayed here for a wedding and managed to leave my headphones behind. The service in returning them to me by the hotel was nothing short of exceptional. I got many phone calls from the excellent Donna in reservations and Joe in HR telling me what they were doing to try and chase them down and then, once they found them, they posted them back to me free of charge with tracked delivery. With people like that working at your hotel you cannot go wrong! Thank you both so much.

I normally dont like to complain but our Room was very outdated and way to small to be a family room. There was 5 of us three kids aged from14 down to 6 In a room only fit for maybe a double and a single at a push beds had no headboards. We couldn't get into wardrobe where it was pushed up against it. We couldn't sleep as room was way to hot with all of us and no air conditioning.

The toilet barely flushed and shower was only luke warm with a wee shower curtain on it. Food was lovely and pool was lovely to keep kids entertained. Such a disappointing stay as we've stayed there many times and loved it. The Hotel needs some updating throughout.

We stayed in the Bridge House Hotel last year and we really enjoyed it. The staff were all lovely and the food was amazing, especially the Italian restaurant. The leisure centre was nice but a bit outdated. Some of the facilities still weren't open due to the pandemic. Overall though, we really enjoyed it.

Great weekend break. Good food n drink. Incredible value. Only issue was the leisure centre. The shower area needs a lot of attention, the steam room wasn't on. Neither was the jacuzzi. When I pointed this out to the attendant I was told they still hadn't opened the jacuzzi due to the pandemic. She seemed surprised the steam room wasn't on. Having said we will be back. Great entertainment in two area's on Fri n Sat evening. What's not to like

Staff where unbelievable friendly and helpful, food 100 %13 girls away and will 100 % be back cannot fault the hotel for anything. Well done to each and every staff member makes a huge difference to be looked after so well. We be back soon.

The staff were very pleasant on arrival and very informative about the hotel. I was aware there was a conference on as my sister was attending it but found the noise unbearable as it went on till 5am in the morning with a lot of the attendees making a lot of noise in the corridors. Food was fantastic and bar staff were lovely. Unfortunately I am going home to sleep.

An outstanding hotel with excellent facilities. There are two restaurants which cater for all tastes. The bar staff are well trained in various drinks and cocktails for any occasion. The gym, pool and outdoor hot tub are outstanding. Meeting rooms and conference facilities are ideal. The venue in particular is popular in the region as a wedding venue. The staff in reception - Adeline, Susan and many others are very dedicated and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
