Briar court hosted our wedding on 04/06/22 and the service was excellent the staff were always very helpful and friendly and our day ran so smoothly. Everyone commented on how good the food was, we would highly recommend Briar court to anyone.

Receptionist was so efficient and friendly. Made me feel so welcomed. Breakfast excellent. Tastiest bacon

Ar kid has his wedding here very good service, wedding was lovely, reception was drunken madness, all very compact, smart and really well done never over the top.

Superb night at a wedding here. Staff were superb throughout. Properly on it when serving drinks helping each other to get the drinks out. Tom in the breakfast restaurant was also a top man. Very attentive and helpful. Doing a great job with a young team who are very professional. We'll done.

The rooms are a bit tired, but clean and presentable! Staff engaging and polite! Great breakfast! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Lovely stay for one night here, we may come back very soon, this is the first time I've slept like I have at home in my own bed and there was a wedding party at the venue too!

Booked the Briar Suite for a team meeting. We were looked after fantastically. 7 of us also stayed at the hotel and the rooms are nice and comfortable if a little small but I only slept so it was no problem. Bathroom was again a little small but clean and shower was good so ideal. I will use this venue again. Thanks go to Cheryl for booking us in and the team that made everything go smoothly.

Very friendly staff. Clean and budget friendly room. Limited choices on tap at bar but nice enough for a travelling business person to have a tipple before bed in comfortable surroundings. Breakfast option to expensive to be honest so I skipped it. I would stay at again.

I stayed here for a wedding nearby. The room itself was fine, clean, a little on the small side but it wasn't an issue. Good location for anything in Huddersfield itself and very friendly staff when checking in. Would stay here again.

I've stayed here a couple of times now, and it fits the bill perfectly. Friendly staff, secure car park, well appointed rooms and an excellent breakfast. Fond memories!

Nice clean room, modern well fitted bathroom. Helpful and friendly staff, will assist you in any need. The bar was a bit expensive, especially for tea. Breakfast was reasonable, buffet style. Plenty of parking. the attached Italian restaurant was excellent, but very busy, book in advance.

Customer service amazing. Always communicating with us. Very helpful. Organised a slightly earlier access to rooms for a group of us due to attending as local wedding. Room clean and no noise from the road although the window was shut. Comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was completed by a polite young man who made you feel relaxed for the breakfast experience.

Super friendly team, good location, quiet and comfortable. My one gripe - the bathroom ceiling tiles in our room were thick with mould, would be so quick and easy to replace! We stayed in two rooms, and this was only the case in one of them. Otherwise would completely recommend.

This was the venue for Our Wedding. What an amazing day. The staff when above and beyond, long before the big day. They really guided us every step of the way. The food was amazing. Rooms were perfect. All our love. Sharron and Simon.

Well located and easy to find. Very nice staff. Room very clean and comfortable. Brilliant pillows BTW. No noise despite there being a wedding taking place. Very nice breakfast run extremely efficiently by a fantastic young man. Would return if needing to stay in the area. Fantastic Italian restaurant next door too

I stay here when I'm in Halifax on business. The rooms are nice--rather small by American standards, but they have everything you need; tea pot w/tea, coffee, hot cocoa, a couple packets of cookies, wireless internet, comfy beds, and remote control TV. There's no in-room air conditioning (not that you really need it there), but there is a radiator in each room with its own control dial.

The bathrooms are always clean, the rooms are pretty quiet, even the ones facing the main road, and they have a small bar and breakfast-only dining facility on-site. You can get sandwiches and fries (chips) throughout the morning up through lunch time, though. If you need to eat in for dinner and get some work done, go to the front desk and order take-out from DaSandro's, which is right across the parking lot.

The lobby/bar area is cozy, with comfortable seating and several tables. The staff is always helpful and attentive, and there is a fantastic Indian restaurant just down and across the street if DaSandros isn't what you have your heart set on for dinner on a given evening. Just be careful crossing the street because if you are like me, you naturally look the opposite direction for cars than the direction they are coming from. There is a marked pedestrian crossing pretty much at the hotel parking lot entrance, it's a lot smarter to use it than to get run over.

Stayed here the night before going to Titanic Spa to avoid the M62 at rush hour and have a chilled night away. The hotel is attached to Da Sandro (very nice Italian also reviewed). The hotel was clean, tidy and well maintained. As it is 5 minutes away from the M62 it is obviously used by commuters but this was no issue. The rate was very reasonable at 50 per room and included breakfast for two.

The room had all the mod cons and there were plenty of tea bags/coffee/hot chocolate sachets and custard creams(!) provided. We only used this as a stop off but was very reasonable and would be a good base to explore the surrounding areas.
