As soon as I arrived I was met with smiley and happy staff which was very welcoming, the place was beautifully designed and modern whilst waiting to check in. Arrived inside my room and again it was Clean and Tidy. I needed an iron for my clothes for the night and when asked at Reception a few seconds later a knock on the door with the items was delivered. there was a party that evening but inside the room we couldnt hear a thing even whilst being the room closest too it.

Breakfast was beautiful, warm with a variety if options. Check out at 11am was brilliant too. Lovely place to stay, nothing was too much for the staff and I will deffo be back.

I have stayed here several times over the past few months and can say that each time has been exactly what was required and expected. The rooms may be old but from my experience are clean and well maintained. The staff go out of their way to be helpful, even making sure to recognise you as a recently returning guest. The food at breakfast is good with a good choice of options.

Would not recommend. Rooms dated and desperately need refurbishing. First room was filthy and needed a good clean. Budget price and very budget hotel.

Staff were great, food was great, especially the steak pie. Yummy. If i had to criticise anything it would be that the room and bed needed major renovations and the cleaning staff need to learn how to clean. We were there 12 days and they only left me 7 tea bags that whole time, luckily I bought my own, i didn't say anything as i wanted to see how long it took them.

The bathroom bin had no bag for 10 days and the carpet was not vacuumed the whole time we were there. There was crumbs and god knows what else under the bed. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly at all the whole time. Cleanliness should be number 1 in the middle of a pandemic. There was no fridge to store anything. Other guests were noisy with the slamming of doors in the middle of the night and early morning.

Nice staff at reception, very pleasant hotel reception and bar areas. The big let down was the rooms and bathrooms.

Very basic room, old decor - the bathroom and bedroom had lots of defects, there was a hole in the actual floor board and the bath had a huge split in it. It was also very cold in the room and hard to heat up the room and felt generally dirty. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good in the morning.

Room requires a complete overall, breakfast not served until 8am on a Monday, which is to late, so I had to miss it, when booking it clearly states breakfast is served between 7 and 10 am, then find out the restaurant isn't open Monday evening, don't think I've stayed in a worse hotel

Staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. The room was warm, but very dated. I know that the 'pandemic' has caused the industry many problem. But the hotel could do with a deep clean and modernization. But given the price, convenient location and staff. Its a good 'budget' option. Just don't expect too much Would stay again
