Apple Tree Hotel

On arrival to the apple tree hotel we came a little early due to how far we were travelling from, That wasn't a problem for the friendly staff and let us check in straight away, the morning of our arrival we were supplied with the most beautiful breakfast, we were checked in to a garden view room our room was very cleaning and cosy, we continued to have breakfast for the two night we booked for it never failed to impress, we enjoyed our stay that much we asked if we could keep our room on for an extra night to continue our little holiday, nothing was to much hassle for the lovely owners, they made us feel so so welcome and made our stay that little more special the location is so beautiful, it's safe to say we will be back to stay in the future thank you for making our holiday special it was so lovely to have met such lovely people

Stay was brilliant and nice part of the country. Owners Simon and Gillian were warm and friendly. Felt home from home, Not what you get from bigger hotel chains, their more the clinical soulless side. Food was top notch cooked how you liked. Nothing was to much for the staff they helped at every part of the stay. Have all ready booked again for another stay.

Hi Simon and Gill great place to stay, lovely accommodation extremely clean cleanliness ten out of ten. Hosts very accommodating and hospitable. Enjoyed my stay and will be back with other friends stayed in room 15 very spacious. GREAT STAY thank you. Know as Claire stayed 22/9/21 to departing 25/9/21. Good price. Had couple of evening meals here beautiful food and great choices at breakfast. Best of all accommodated for dietary needs with oat milk.

Very unfriendly.we stopped and asked if they were doing food.we were turned away as fully booked on a Wednesday night.not even an apology or a smile

We have just spend 4 very comfortably nights at this lovely hotel. Very friendly owners and equally friendly staff. It is a clean and pleasant hotel. We can recommend the breakfast and evening meals. You do need to book for evening meals as it gets booked up and of course that is because the food is delicious and plentiful. It AA but we feel its at the very top end of that rating Thankyou for a lovely comfortably stay we will be back in the near future.

Such a beautiful place. The owner was just fantastic from start to finish, going the extra mile for us on more than one occasion! Loved the homely feel and we will definitely be back.

Owner Simon and wife such lovely people. Nothing too much, so helpful and friendly. Staff equally good. Exceptionally clean throughout. Strict covid rules apply and are adhered to. Food very good quality and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back.

Really lovely staff, Simon very kindly gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending down the road to save us taxi money! Breakfast was great and had a couple drinks at the cosy and comfortable bar. Comfy bed and good shower. Room was exceptionally clean. Shame we were only here for one night!

This is a nice little locally run hotel, they do decent food and the service is great, I had a lovely time staying there. They gave great advice on getting to and from my friends wedding. my only slight issue was I was unable to get the wifi in my room due to the old thick walls. This would be a great place to stay if you were exploring the area or are down for a wedding. as it is friendly and good value.

If have not visited the Apple Tree Hotel for a while but from the outside it does not look like this pub/hotel has changed for years. I think its more popular with tourists rather than local drinkers. The most interesting thing about the place is there's a fully grown apple tree indoors which has assembled as if its growing in the pub!
