Fabulous location, exceptionally clean lovely room with comfy bed. The Manager was really friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable and enjoy our stay. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely return.

What a gem of a hotel. Stayed here years ago and loved it then. The place has now been refurbished and it is even better. Less than 5 minute walk to the town centre and promenade. Rooms very warm. comfortable and well equipped. Managers / owners very friendly and helpful. Love this place.

Creaky bed, unable to sleep. Tiny room. Advertised as a queen room, owner blamed booking.com for wrongly advertising. Huge piles of Seagul poo on windowsills that must have been there weeks. Flies in room. No hot water. We let the owner know our concerns as we left and 10 mins later we were put down as no shows on booking.com to stop us leaving a review.

I contacted booking.com who contacted the owners to check on this. They said the person they got through to was extremely rude and hung up the phone. Unfair to stop people posting bad reviews and then to pounce on them and retaliate when they do. The bed needs replacing and the advertisements on booking.com need changing. Unhappy.

Clean and tidy, Communal decor done well. Great location (if anywhere in Blackpool is a great location). Room allegedly recently refurbished but had rusty bathroom fittings and old (recently painted) textured wall paper and a tired carpet. Fire doors propped open and PAT testing stickers in rooms several years out of date. 130 for two double bed in a standard size room for a Tuesday in October (albeit half term) feels very expensive but market forces potentially at play. (We did book for a family of 4, four weeks in advance of our stay, on booking.com. Apparently they didn't pass on the correct information to the owners) Won't be back.

Stayed here for 3 nights really wish it was longer, your made to feel at home and so welcome, the room was immaculate warm and nice comfy beds, the breakfast well all I can say is 5 stars isn't enough it was cooked to perfection and presentation was spot on and taste was perfect, Alan and John were perfect hosts and nothing was to much for them I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and can't wait to go back.

We have just returned from two night break with two friends and the Lynburn Hotel is excellent, never been before but will definitely return. Staff are excellent, food fabulous and plenty to entertain. We cannot wait to return

John and Alan were fantastic hosts, couldn't do enough for me, food was lovely and rooms were cleaned daily, great location right in the centre of Blackpool. Will definitely be going back soon.

Totally rubbish. The two bedrooms we booked were not worth the money the rooms we stopped in were no where near the standard as to what was shown and described on the website, no wardrobes in bedroom, light above sink did not work, cold water tap give hot water out very dangerous, S wife went to wash her mouth out After brushing her teeth, damp spots on ceiling, no back on the remote for tele and owners of the guest out did not reside there had to phone up when we arrived for them to come round from another hotel to open up, we had no bedside tables and there was no wi/fi, which is not what it said when we booked, it said there was, heating did not work and there was no bar, yet stated that there was when we booked. there was also a Disturbance with two guests which kept everyone awake in the hotel in to early hours owners of guest house next door had to call police due to fact that the owners of the LynBar hotel did not live there, this was the worst nights stay ever and rubbish rooms not worth the price, be careful when booking and looking at images of rooms/hotel on trip advisor etc as they are not up to date, please do not book a room in this hotel we are currently trying to get a refund from the owners for both rooms we booked and they are being very uncooperative but we Will not let it be, we want our money back and will take it as far as is necessary to get it back, what ever it takes as they ignore your emails and phone calls, I feel that they gained the booking of the two rooms from us by deception/false advertising we did not get the rooms or facilities what we paid for, I hope people read this review before booking, please don't book rooms in this hotel I also know through people that have contacted us through our compliant that they have also asked for their money back

Absolutely appalling! This hotel/B&B whatever you want to call it, is not fit for anyone to stay in! The owner isn't even on site! He's too busy running a restaurant in Ireland! The staff member one site was very helpful although they wasnt provided the information or requests regarding our stay! There is no breakfast as advertised, no bar, there were no toiletries provided (not even hand soap which you would expect in a pandemic!) The room was extremely unsafe.

I was travelling with my baby son who cut himself on the flooring. I have photographs of the poor flooring, broken beds, damp, expanding foam used to cover holes, plug socket hanging off the wall and pretty much everything you can think of! How this hotel came second on four in a bed is beyond me! If you want a nice break, a safe bed and room then don't waste your money on this place when the owner can't even be on site to deal with your complaints himself! Couldn't even stay one night! So ended up trekking the roads of Blackpool to find somewhere to stay!

Had such a lovely stay here last weekend with my 3 kids. We booked a different hotel 1st and when we arrived it was absolutely disgusting! So we rang around and found this place and i am so happy we did they made my family feel so welcome, the room was spotless&the breakfast was lovely i would recommend this place to anyone especially if you have small children as its so close to all the attractions, will definitely be staying here again thankyou for a lovely time
