Enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast with all the trimmings, great portion sizes and good value for money. Thanks.

Delicious food as always! Take away and sit in, roast dinners are delicious and good size portions. Sandwiches are tasty, fresh produce and plenty to eat! We ordered take away ended up sitting in the eat, young staff but all very friendly and helpful Shame it's closing next March, we hope they keep serving delicious home cooked food in the future

This hotel is disgusting. They allow animals to run amuck in the hotel. I checked in and was greeted to dog feces at the door to my room. The staff nonchalantly played it off as if it was a very minor thing; mind you, the flooring is all carpet and the feces were "cleaned" with only a wet napkin. The room itself is cramped. The few outlets they do have are occupied.

One of the outlet housing is hanging precariously from the wall. The shower is either cold or scalding hot. There was no in-between temperature. After that debacle, I decided to checkout only to be charged for a two-night stay. I do not recommend this hotel; especially at 125 GBP/night.

Really unimpressed today with the service, popped in for a bite to eat. I had to go in and ask why the food was taking so long after a 25 minute wait just for a cheese sandwich and chips. It took 25 minutes to actually get the food, the chips were soaked in oil and burnt. I saw the kitchen area from the door and bins where overflowing, stuff all over the sides, in the Reception of the cafe condiments where on the floor for what ever reason, no apologies for a very basic cheese sandwich taking so long.

It was appalling. What made it worst, we was the ONLY ones there, no one was waiting for food or drinks, we were the only customers. If they knew it was going to take so long they could of at least let us know theirs a wait on food, equally if id of known the quality of the food and the state of the kitchen area prior I wouldn't of ordered food.

We had a socially distanced meal with our daughter and family. The all day breakfasts were out of this world. Very friendly owners and resident dog to pick up anything you dropped accidentally. The fact that said dog is not fat is testament to how good the food is. Full range of veggie and vegan alternatives.

Now here is a place to visit. They were unassuming, friendly to a professional point and the Chef dished up a superb ploughman's lunch of both the ham and the cheese. The views are fantastic, we could have stayed all day. Thanks ladies!

Saw an absolute steal of a price on the Kallacliff Special breakfast (a double english but with delicious ingredients) on Friday and came back on the Sunday because it didn't leave our minds. After arriving we were greeted promptly and with a smile. Got to sit outside with a great view and enjoy an incredible breakfast (and that's not just the price making me biased).

Well presented, quickly in our stomachs and all with a smile and clearly a passion for anyone stopping by. Highly recommended. Although, the beautiful Saffron (dog) might pop over for a scratch which isn't a problem at all for us as we knew for a start she was friendly and definitely kept any stray seagulls away.

Visited Sept 9th 2020. Please note: We only stopped for a bite to eat in the conservatory, my review is based upon observation. The hotel looks nice from the outside, tho a little care worn on the inside. The stair carpet needs replacing as it is a bit grubby. A lick of paint on the stairs would freshen things up, the toilet upstairs was tiny, needed refurbishing with a broken window.

And that's about it for the bad stuff. The rooms looked large and so very comfortable, from what I saw of the beds, they looked unbelievably comfy, which is what you want. The hotel is homely and comfortable, no airs and graces. The staff are out of this world for a friendly welcome and service. The food is also very very nice and reasonably priced (you won't be ripped off)
