Pine Lodge

I came here for a family holiday and was made to feel part of the family here, the owners and staff are lovely and friendly, and would definitely recommend this family run hotel

What a fantastic place. The staff are amazing so helpful and always willing to help. The lodge is kept so clean and the food is amazing. I stay there as much as i can. It really is my second home.

Not great tiny room even smaller toilet and shower manager was drinking in the bar and told us it was closed never mentioned there was a bar near by

A lovely well run family hotel comfortable beds large on suite great choice for breakfast. Plenty of off road parking too. Highly recommend

Was disappointed needed some tlc. In the bathroom there was quite a bit of black around the tiles a shelf not fixed properly bedside light not bright enough to read with. The location was ideal for town and we had a sea view.

The staff were nice and welcoming, food prices are too high as looking at other restaurants, the prices were cheaper and we never bought anything there. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny in addition to being quite dirty with the TV also being very tiny. Breakfast was nice and the pool was very nice. Overall the place is okay but I would not go back to the same room. This was room 4.

: Friendly staff, location fairly near town centre and beaches, free car park : Overpriced at peak season, decor/general ambiance rather dated, our room bathroom quite small (in fact the sink was installed separately in bedroom outside the bathroom.), Not as clean as I would have liked. This isn't the Hilton but if you're after a basic unfussy place to bed down for the night its ok.

Food was lovely bed sheets were pure white brilliant host will go back thank you ash and family

Myself, wife and children 10 and 12 came here last summer. We couldn't have been happier. A lovely, friendly, welcoming, approachable family who run this establishment. Breakfast every morning was nice, visually appealing, plentiful and hot every morning. Our family room, nice, homely and clean. Pool area was spotless, well maintained and most importantly safe.

Bar snacks/meals were great and made promptly. Pool table and darts room. Overall Fantastic. My apologies to the family here that my review took so long. Looking to rebook for Summer 2021 and likely most years thereafter. To you all at Pine Lodge, our thanks, you completed our family holiday. Hope to see you this year and hoping you're all well. Truly the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The staff at the hotel made our stay absolutely terrible with their callousness and incompetence. On the day we got there, we were told that they had double booked our room for the final night of our stay and gave it to someone else because they had offered to take the property for 2 weeks. Look, I don't know if these guys understand how to run a business but if you accept a booking, you are obliged to fulfill it regardless of the booking opportunities that come after it.

The worst part was they had actually called up twice to confirm our room and only decided to modify our reservation on the day we arrived. They did the bare minimum and did not have the decency to even help us find alternative accommodation after we were left stranded with nowhere to go as all the hotels in town were fully booked. I will always remember the sheepish look of the manager as she confirmed that she had bumped us and there was nothing she was going to do to help us.

The rooms itself were tiny and not worth the price. The pool was quite dirty but on the bright side it was heated. Finally it is a bit of a trek into town and isn't very centrally located so keep that in mind. Truly ruined my stay in Newquay and will not be returning. Will be telling all my friends and family to stay away

What I liked Nice location with large car park Friendly and warm welcome What I didn't like Breakfast between 8and 9am on a weekend is too restrictive / early ( like the check out time) Breakfast was average in quantity and quality (cheap yoghurt s) Decor is inconsistent. Some parts have been done up others are more "traditional" Cutting corners. Polycotton bed linen.

No thank you. Cheap toiletries from Lidl An item had been left in the shower by the previous guest. Obviously the cleaning wasn't thorough Overall I was disappointed and quite happy to leave. I was going to stay at a chain hotel on the seafront but given the crisis the hospitality business is going through I wanted to help a small independent business. I regretted my decision

My husband & I have just returned from a 3 night stay at pine lodge. We couldn't have found a better place to stay in the whole of Newquay. We had a newly decorated ground floor room which was absolutely spotless with a lovely comfortable bed. Yvonne is both lovely & friendly & she made us feel very welcome as did the other staff at breakfast. The cooked breakfast was delicious & there was a good variety of cereals, jams, yogurts & teas to choose from. We would definitely stay here again hopefully a longer visit next time.
