Our purpose built Conference and Banqueting suite - The Tanfield Suite, caters for up to 150 guests. What a place to host a wedding! The views from the front step looking out or even with your back to them and looking at the front door are great and provide fantastic photo backdrops as does the golf course. The staff were amazing at both the organisation beforehand and all the way through our big day, we couldn't of asked for better, THANK YOU. If we ever think of renewing our vows in the future I'm sure we will include you in our thoughts but as we are newly weds we will just have to visit for meals or even the odd night away for now.
The food is fantastic, drink are evenly priced too and there are some fantastic deals available for watching music acts while staying the night. Keep up the good work, Paul, Tracey and all the team you made our big day the dream we wanted, thank you

Many hotels offer late check-out on request without charge, some charge 10, however Beamish Park charge a not insignificant 20! Having paid this premium amount I was disappointed to have cleaning staff knocking at the door before I was due to leave, surprised to find my key card had been disabled before I was due to leave and embarrassed at being asked if I'd paid for late checkout at reception when leaving.
The hotel has subsequently ignored me suggesting that I've made too much of the issue - spoilt my stay and would put me off booking there again. Plenty of nice hotels who don't charge for late checkout or charge less and manage it properly.

Sunday lunch. Menu excellent choices and food good and generous portions. However, after being shown to our table we waited 45 minutes before our order was taken. We had to wait more lengthy spells before order for sweets taken. Then more waiting for coffee which never arrived. We gave up, paid and left. We think organisation of service to tables needs sorting and managing. Such a shame to say this and hope Beamish Park can sort this.

We only stayed one night, and this is another real dog friendly hotel. The views across the valley are spectacular and there the a golf course attached. The rooms for dogs are on the ground floor, leading directly to a car park area making it easy to take pets out. Everyone was so friendly. The food was delicious. It may not be the most luxurious of hotels but was a great place to stay.

Pizza was nice and would recommend the house rose wine. Service could be improved, could tell the staff were stressed which isn't great customer experience. Lots of flies on the covered patio, citronella candles needed! Pizza was lovely and it wasn't staffs fault but they obviously need more of them.
