The Vincent Hotel

Lovely stay with the vincent yesterday. Professional from start to finish give all the staff a pay rise they were excellent from the reception to the waiters/waitresses. The American chap at reception was a great guy and very helpful and when we asked the 2 blonde ladies at reception if we could check out at 12 (should be 11) it was not a problem at all. Excellent.

Breakfast was delicious only thing I would say is there could be a potato element to the dish. Hash browns, rostis but that's just my preference everything else was spot on and the waiters were excellent. Will 110% be back in a couple of weeks.

We had the afternoon tea. Not a very imaginative afternoon tea. No little extra touches. Could do with added fruit. 3 cakes too many.

Great hotel. Staff are a real credit and will help you beyond any expectation. My only fault of our stay was the two camp style beds they provided for our kids were deeply uncomfortable to the point where the bare carpet was better. Apart from that everything else was bang on and I highly recommend the place

Went here for my sister in laws baby shower, I ordered a afternoon tea which never came so had to share with my grandma. They then tried to charge us for the afternoon tea we didn't receive. We explained what happened and they took it off the bill in the end.

Nice decor, unlike the rest of Southport which is going down hill fast. The restaurant has a good atmosphere with very smart staff. Now here comes the crunch, we had the "Mexican Burger". So what do you get for 15? A very boring soggy bun, a lettuce leaf, and some melted cheese. The chef has obviously never been to Mexico, the food was not good. Most likely the worst burger I have ever eaten. This burger made McDonalds look like a luxurious main meal. So 2 out of 5 for the burger. I suggest you go on YouTube and watch how a burger should be made.

Perfect overnight break. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The massage in House of Evelyn was the best I've ever had! Thanks Amanda! The food for dinner and breakfast was top quality, tasted superb and presented beautifully. 20/10! We can't wait to book again. Thank you to all at THE VINCENT!

Our party of five had lunch at the Vincent. The menu includes vegetarian and fish options which was good as four of the group do not eat meat. Young, well trained waiters did a great job. They were well turned out and polite. Modern, elegant surroundings. Clean, well decorated and maintained, including bathrooms. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch.

What a lovely friendly atmosphere at the same time as oozing class. Food to die for. I definitely recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding. There was even marshmallow toasting on the next table. Thank you I will definitely be back.

Had a lovely meal here my only criticism is the service was very slow and the meal wasn't really hot enough for me. The sweet also took 20 minutes to come even though it was already in the glass ready. But it was a very nice place. Perhaps next time it will be perfect. Richard.

Stopped outside for a drink as they had seating with heaters. Staff polite and helpful.

Beautiful food, service very attentive. What more can be said As everything is cooked fresh not the place to go if in a hurry, great views overlooking Lord St and Gardens

Fantastic evening at the the Vincent last Saturday. Andi and staff exceptional service and the food was beautiful. Thank you so much and can't wait to visit again soon, I would recommend this fabulous venue to all.

Loved this restaurant, friendly staff and great food, will definitely go back next time I visit Southport.

The food is simply excellent. Very high end and worth every penny. The bar isn't what it used to be. Hence the 4 stars. Used to have character and a great bar team. The girl we spoke to had no idea what we were ordering.

Fabulous rooms and very comfy beds. However cocktails not the best and service was slightly chaotic. Took 30 minutes to place our food order. That said food then came pretty quick and was worth the wait.

Excellent Lunch with friends at the Vincent today. Plenty of lovely pink beef, well seasoned vegetables. Friendly discreet service. Good value and we'll worth a visit.

The food was nice and service was good. However the pudding to share was a let down and I would recommend you don't go for it. It was a quirky novelty having the naked flame on the table but for 14 I would expect more than a small tower of marshmallows, a couple of ginger biscuits and a tiny scoop of ice cream suitable for one. Not to forget two blackberries cut in half and one strawberry cut in half. This is not what you expect for 14 to feed two people.

The Vincent hotel restaurant is superb. Excellent menu including superb sushi, the soft shell crab shouldn't be missed. Service is attentive and friendly. If you are visiting Southport this is a must visit restaurant.

I cannot fault this hotel from the moment I arrived to when i checked out it was perfect. The food was amazing, the beds comfortable and the service was 5 star!
