Benedicts Hotel

Perfect Hotel in every way. We booked into the Executive suite with Champagne on arrival for our anniversary ( room 204 ). The room was very big and spotless clean in every way, just like new. We also had dinner in the Restaurant booked which was also perfect having the steak and pork fillet ( a few too many chicken dishes though so maybe more steak and fish or gammon possibly would be good ) But that didnt take away from our dining experience.

Every single member of staff made us very welcome and service was very efficient and well run, ( NOT like some hotels where staff are standing chatting or on their phones! Not here ) Cocktails after dinner again a very nice selection provided by friendly bar staff even when at busy times. So Overall i give Benedicts Hotel 10 out of 10 a very well deserved 4 star Hotel ( should be more i think ) so we will definately be staying again.

Incredible! The room. The staff. The bar. The vibes. Everything was amazing! Live DJ on a Thursday night in the bar. We were checked up on multiple times to see if we needed any other drinks while in the bar area. Very kind!

We booked a weekend away in Belfast to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. I spent hours researching hotels and Benedicts seemed the best by far. Unfortunately, we were only able to book for the Friday night as they were fully booked on the Saturday. I nearly didn't book as I we didn't really want the hassle of packing up and moving to another hotel on the Saturday morning but I'm so glad I did!

This hotel is amazing in every way. It looked so impressive from the outside as we pulled up in the taxi. Our welcome on Reception was warm and friendly and our room was superb. There was even a lovely card and complimentary bottle of fizz as it was our Anniversary (I mentioned this when booking). We ate in the restaurant, the service was great and the food delicious.

We then went to the hotel bar where we had a complimentary drink. The atmosphere was electric - the place was full of happy people enjoying a Friday night out. The staff behind the bar were clearly loving their jobs. Disappointingly, after a very late night, we didn't make breakfast (which I'd read is excellent). They kindly looked after our suitcases for us whilst we explored the local area - the University & Botanical Gardens and we then sadly headed to our hotel for the Saturday night which wasn't a patch on Benedicts. Thank you to all the staff at Benedicts for making our short stay such a memorable one - we'd love to go back!

We attended Benedict's yesterday for a graduation meal and from the min we arrived until we left the service was just amazing. We had a lovely table of 6 with seats covered in a beautiful red cover, food was amazing and such quick service! We then moved downstairs to continue with some drinks and stayed the rest of the night due to the atmosphere. The deputy manager brought us over a free tray of shots for celebrating the graduation and we even won a free 4 course meal on the music bingo! Would defo recommend!

Where do I start, 4:30pm on a Saturday you wouldn't expect nightclub music would you? Music blasting so loud I couldn't hear the other guest I was dining with talk. When we asked for the music to be turned down we were originally told it wasn't possible, then it got turned down slightly after we asked another member of staff, only to be put back up to full blast 3 minutes later. Ordered a medium rare steak, what I received was basically raw, in areas it was fine and In others it wasn't. The steak wasn't cooked by a competent chef, for 26 I expected at least something good.

Lovely food, the bar downstairs was great on the weekend they had a D.j it was so nice.no trouble whatsoever. The club was run like clockwork lots of security and bar staff.oh and the cocktails are fab at 7.00 and very strong! In London I pay 20.00 for a cocktail and they are not as good as these

Had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely amazing. They let us check in early to get ready for our wedding and they went above and beyond for us at the reception. They were all so kind and approachable. We even had complementary drinks for the bride and groom. Room was so comfortable! Honestly so so happy!

Didn't stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant and the food was brilliant. It was Valentine's Day and the set menu was well worth the money. Our waiter (I think his name was Adam) was brilliant, his excellent service really enhanced the experience. Would recommend the sirloin steak.

I have memories of the food here being average enough (not bad by any means but nothing out of the ordinary) but today my partner and I came as a last minute idea and were absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was. We were seated upstairs for Sunday Lunch and received two courses for 16 Not the most exciting menu, but is totally good food done well, well priced, and generous portions too. And we both commented on how particularly friendly every member of staff that attended to us were. We are very excited to return and try the rest of the menu!

Just had a fantastic night beautiful meal lovely breakfast fantastic staff special call out to Lydia at the reception desk help this with all our queries validated our parking thanks again my wife and I had a wonderful evening

Booked Champagne Sundays. absolutely brilliant deal. Service from every member of staff was outstanding. Table service within the bar due to current restrictions was fantastic, never sat waiting for a drink. The guy singing was amazing. It was an absolute pleasure and wonderful experience from start to finish. The lady in the residents lounge was the best ever at her job and what a voice she had, came across that she was very happy doing her job. We will def be back

Look at their Facebook page, you cant make review because they knows those boys at the door thinks they are somebody. Place are only for tramps and the boys at the door are ready to beat up your woman, they are women beater. Sad but terrible not worth spending your money to get those boys at the get paid.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Just made I in time for the early bird menu also which was a bonus Will definitely be back plenty space in the bar area also!

Went here for a Christmas Party night, a group of 14. Booking and prepayment made simple and straightforward. Staff took order at the table and seemed to go smoothly. Food was delicious and didn't seem like your usual reheated rubbish that some places offer. Timing between courses seemed spot on, no wait and not rushed. Staff were attententive and friendly throughout. Moved downstairs for entertainment after the meal, served quickly each time at the bar and good drinks selection. Very enjoyable night had by all

Great deal on an overnight stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Beds were super comfy and cozy. I would definitely stay here again. We got a 4 course meal, drink on arrival & a full Irish breakfast the next morning and check out was nice and late 12pm check out. Would definitely recommend.

Staff where absolutely amazing. Visited the cocktail and lunch event. A special high five to the girl who was at our lunch table and who seated us in the main bar after. I'm not sure I think she was a manager named Anne but she went above and beyond to accommodate us. The young staff serving lunch where amazing also. Excellent customer service.

The food in hotel was really nice, and bed was comfy, but room very basic and dusty. When arrived we asked reception did we need book Table at bar that night was told no, when we went to bar that night no tables. Told manager we were residents he said it didn't matter was first come first served so had sit in smoking area until table available. Got home to discover 50.00 taken from my account no prior warning when rang accused of smoking in room which did not happen. Definitely would not be back 50 was refunded after complaining about experience in total.

Went for a meal on a Thurs evening, they have a 7 before 7 on and 5 cocktails. Portion sizes are large so if your not a big eater, leave the sides alone. Good range of beer on tap and wine per bottle is a decent price. Overall, service from start to finish was fantastic and could not fault any of the meals brought out to us.

I love the restaurant here, fantastic selection of starters and mains, not one fault at all. If you love seafood then give Benedicts a try, their monk fish and squid is delicious!

Excellent food, can't fault it. The service is of good standard a majority of the time. Large outdoor social smoking area. Music isn't great a lot the time and service can be dreadfully slow when busy. Major down points are the tight dining areas, too many tables contained within the upstairs dining area, so much so that pulling your chair out to sit down your more than likely to collide with someone or hit the furnishings.

Also a pest problem, not within the building, not that I have seen but definitely in the smoking area there are rats, which I have seen myself. But being outside the smoking area is right next to the sewage system.

Youve had a heavy night on a Saturday and you can't be bothered doing anything on the Sunday. Hit Benedicts and they a very reasonable Sunday Lunch. Eat until you can't move. My idea of a great Sunday.
