The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It's also in a prime location for exploring Belfast as it was just a 5 min walk from the bus station where the bus from the airport stops. The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast menu as it lacked choice a little bit but still tasty. I will be staying here again if I come back to Belfast!

After going to see a concert in Belfast, my partner fancied a lie in the morning after, so I attended breakfast myself and asked politely if it was possible to take some fresh fruit up to the room as she didn't attend breakfast. The duty manager (Kate) went above and beyond and made up a small platter of continental treats and had a nice chat with me about the concert and my stay, a lovely start to my day Thanks Kate Best Regards Travis

A great venue. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bright and clean. Prices for drinks were reasonable and not over the top like other venues nearby. Didn't eat but food I saw looked good and service also looked good. Will revisit and this time sample the food. Plenty of nearby parking.

Beautiful modern and spacious room. Hotel is conveniently located near Belfast city. The value for money here is very good. We were met with some abruptness from staff when we asked about borrowing an umbrella

At a concert in Belfast. Booked into Ten Square Hotel. Initial impression was good. Lovely room. Came back to hotel bar after great concert. Bar was quite for a Bank Holiday but music was good so we stayed. Disco lights were flashing in our faces so we gestured to bar staff to turn them off, which they did but looked confused. My partner went to explain that any flashing lights can bring on migraine aura.

He argued with her about the lights and her migraine. Arrogance has no place behind a bar. Duty manager was also unhelpful. Ruined what was a lovely evening. Had there been any vacancies elsewhere we would have checked out but definitely won't be back

Beautiful hotel, tastefully and historically decorated favouring Belfast icons in its decor. Our room was spacious, airy, beautifully decorated and so comfortable with all the four-star trimmings. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings and the hotel itself is ideally located within walking distance or short bus/taxi ride to city sights and places of interest or event venues. The only slight downside is parking; though within walking distance, even with concession rate was 17 overnight. Enjoy!

I have stayed in the room that occupies 4 adults twice now in the last 3 months and the room is faultless. Absolutely lovely we got checked in this time early which was great. The location is perfect. The breakfast was nice and the staff are very friendly. Only criticism I have is the restaurant had no starters when we went for a light lunch and still had the Christmas menus up so we had to leave and go elsewhere for lunch.

Room was spacious and very clean, shower was very comfortable, fridge also very handy, staff were friendly and the location of the hotel was excellent! Breakfast was very disappointing, no fruit or anything freely available other than tea/coffee/toast, the food we ordered was also quite disappointing. Room was not cleaned over the 2 nights, would have been nice to have water, tissue roll etc topped up. No bedside lights/lamps for reading etc. Overall clean and pleasant hotel, with an excellent location but missing some of the important comforts.

We had our work Christmas lunch there, I had the salmon, it was nice, others complained about the turkey, which apparently was poor. I stayed that night, very basic room, requested a move as I had booked a room with a bath, I got moved ok, but no hot water, got the key to the empty room next door, still no hot water. Work colleagues have requested I book somewhere else next year, pity as the location was great.

Lovely hotel. Pity the Loft bar wasn't open as it was a Sunday but bar downstairs did the job. Staff were lovely, room was good, breakfast good. All a fair price

The room was very compact but impeccably clean and I did sleep well, however a kettle, some bottled water and a shower cap would have been appreciated.

Just had my sister's hen do here last weekend. The staff were so lovely. Albeit they were really busy elsewhere and kept forgetting about us. We didn't mind too much as we were having a lovely time. Only issue I have is one of the party had to cancel last minute due to covid. I called up the morning of the hen, as soon as I knew about the. cancellation, to cancel her cocktail making and dinner.

I asked about the refund or credit note and was told to speak to the manager when I arrived. i did that and was fobbed off again. I called on Monday and again today to chase, only to be told today there is no refund or credit note for her. the cost was 58. that's a lot of money. i know covid has been.

Went for a retirement party on Thursday. Good Xmas food (originally told ordinary menu would be available) and very good service. But seriously, allowing a dog in the restaurant! Not a guide dog, some sort of poodle mix. Not even asked if any at our table had a dog allergy. Sorry, just for that could never go back.

Just leaving Ten Square after a wonderful weekend and wanted to say a huge thankyou to the restaurant staff they were so friendly and attentive and food was excellent. We had 2 children with us who had a. fantastic experience. Tiernan had a great belated birthday particularly due to the restaurant staff who made him feel so special.

Well what can I say, AMAZING. The staff are fantastic, couldn't fault any of them. You all made our wedding day/night perfect. We couldn't have picked a better venue or had better service. everyone who dealt with us treated us like their family. We will be definitely coming to stay again. massive thank you to all that helped, especially when our daughter took sick during the wedding also for helping us plan our day. Thank you to all who was working last weekend.

We had lunch today in Jospers Steakhouse. Firstly the service was outstanding, the waitress went over and above and made everyone, especially the children feel so welcome. The kids eat free offer was great!. Secondly, the food was absolutely delicious. Such good portions and so reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Beautiful decor and friendly ambience.

We stayed here for a family occasion and disappointed is an understatement. The woman that checked us in was very nice and helpful but that's where it ends. We were booked into 3 separate rooms, I had asked. previously if we could have the rooms next to each other or on the same floor, I was told that this could be arranged on the day at check in.

When we arrived, which we were on time, we were told that it wasn't possible to have the rooms next to each other or on the same floor. All 3 rooms had dirty grubby floors, there was little to none shower gel/shampoo, very little toilet paper, the TV controls must have never been cleaned. The room on the 6th floor had constant noise right through to.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Ten Square Hotel. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. The reception staff in particular. My wife became ill and we had to visit A&E and the staff were extremely supportive even going as far as leaving 'get well' chocolates and a card in our room. We will be recommending this hotel to our family and friends in future. Thank you Ten Square!

Couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Everything was first class. Food was amazingly good.and we were on a coach tour, where the food budget is generally low. Great location for getting around Belfast. If you ask for a front facing room, be aware that the hotel is on a busy road, therefore traffic noise is inevitable.

My sister had her wedding reception here at the weekend. Rooms were really clean and comfortable. I have to give a big shout out to Muhammad, he went above and beyond to accommodate us. Nothing was to much trouble. (give that man a payrise) would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great day/night

The historical outside is obviously much older than all of the modern conveniences inside. The rooms (extra comfy beds with comforters, bath with towel warming racks and rain showers) lobby and common areas are all newly renovated. Their location is convenient to all of the sites. After a long day about it was great that they had their own restaurant and bar. The staff was friendly attentive and willing to please. We had a great stay. Enjoy!

Great friendly Service at the front desk, in the bar, and at the restaurant. Good food. Comfortable rooms with heated towels. Clean. Staff went out of their way to be helpful Darryl went out of his way to meet our special requests. Staff helped plan our days. All in all our best hotel staff in many places we stayed. Thanks

They do not care about their hotel guests. A wedding party will be playing a loud base beat until 1am tonight (which we can physically feel the beat) and I'm in the room right above it. "All guests who checked in today were informed" - well we checked in yesterday and were NOT informed! No room to move us too, no real apology, NOTHING. Outrageous! Do not stay here.

Over the years I have visited Ten Square Hotel restaurant and bar on many occasions for food and drink. I have always found it good and have enjoyed my time spent there. Most recently I attended a wedding on Friday 1 July 2016 and was extremely impressed by the hotel decor, facilities and service. After a recent refurbishment Ten Square is now a beautiful, understated, stylish hotel in which to hold a wedding.

Staff were helpful and everything flowed smoothly. We drank wine, Prosecco and cocktails all of which were fantastic. The vegetable soup starter with focaccia bread was scrumptious. My main of roast vegetable and goats cheese tart (vegetarian option) was great too, though I thought serving it with mushroom risotto was a little weird and would have preferred salad or potatoes and veg with it.

A delicious trio of desserts consisting of chocolate torte, cheesecake, and white chocolate profiteroles completed the meal. A generous evening buffet was provided later with particular highlights being mini vegetable quiches, potato wedges with sweet chilli sauce and a broad selection of wraps and sandwiches. Although I didn't stay overnight a lot of guests booked rooms with which they were very happy. Overall a warm, welcoming hotel right in the heart of Belfast which I would happily recommend for dinner, drinks, special events or stay overs.

I don't know why but I really like Ten Square. It's a great spot for after work drinks and they have some great drinks like Leffe on draught which isn't available in too many other Belfast bars. Yes, it may well be a 'hotel bar' but there is so much more to it than that. Pop in anytime day or night and there's always a good crowd and nice atmosphere pretty much guaranteed.

For sports fans they show most 'big' sporting events but manage to do so in a way that doesn't intrude on others who are in the bar. The food is also pretty good and I find, given it's prime location right behind the City Hall, it is pretty reasonably priced. A great place to start a night out.

Just finished a two night vacation stay at this great hotel. It's located just off Donegal Square so it was very convenient to take the bus from the airport to city hall and just walk across the street the hotel. Our hotel room was quite spacious for two people with one queen bed and one twin bed. The bathroom was very large and modern. One could even sleep in there if they needed to.

As the hotel is in the city center, it's a short walk away from almost all parts of the city. The staff was very attentive and helpful, making recommendations and calling taxis for us. The elevator was down during our stay but they offered to have bellboys or whoever bring up our bags to our room. I'd come back here for another stay in Belfast.

The only negative of the room was that our room was very close to the center of the building where there is a small courtyard. We could hear people from other buildings and smell cigarette smoke from our room which we noticed in the late mornings or early afternoons. Next time, I'd ask for a room facing the street as that may be quieter

Good all rounder. I don't normally dine in hotels as i prefer restaurants, but on my first occasion I have to say that it was surprisingly nice and good value. I have returned a few times for drinks and found a great selection of nice cocktails. There is a friendly atmosphere and relaxed enough for a hotel. I have attended a wedding in Ten Square and it was absolutely perfect. the reception room had a lovely luxurious interior and the meal was beautiful. At times it can be very busy, but otherwise its a haven in the city centre

Probably a 3.5 if the truth be known but I'm struggling to get this hotel really. It's a great location right next door to city hall and very central meaning you can get everywhere but it seems like it could do with learning a few things from similar priced hotels offering a better service. Here's some points that could do with an improvement: *Check-in is super strict at 3pm, check out is 11am - you're robbing me of 2 hours here peeps! *Hotel areas seem a bit frayed and dated.

Everywhere seemed a bit scruffy. *Breakfast offering was ok but nothing too great. Fresh fruit offering a bit miserable and the coffee terrible. I could only manage 2 sips of my macchiato - so bitter! *Breakfast room was dead - one other person in a massive room with little atmosphere, plus a really overly fatty smell stinking it out. *Dirty trolley from housekeeping dumped outside room since yesterday.

Ok so these are all small things and are 'first world probs' but I haven't seen much to make me think wow I must stay here again. Could be great with some TLC but in this price bracket I've had much better experiences.

Ten Square is a bit of an odd one, I've been in a few times but I've never eaten, that is until today. I had an impromptu meeting with my sister in law in Belfast and we thought we'd get out of the cold. Ten Square was the logical destination due to proximity really. This isn't somewhere I would usually go, it's perhaps a wee bit fancy for my usual attire - ripped jeans and trainers.

Anyway today was great. We went in and were able to get a table quickly, despite it being 1pm. The staff were attentive, I even got called 'Sir' which was a nice novelty. We were in a rush so I selected The Fish Pie, it came out within ten minutes. It was beautifully presented with a cheesy, creamy mash on the top. The pie was full of local seafood, including prawns, muscles and chunks of salmon - these delights were bathed in a rich creamy sauce.

On the side I was given two thick cut slices of wheaten bread although one would have been more than adequate. Overall I was extremely happy with my lunch. Price wise it was excellent - just over 16 for two hearty lunches, a coffee and a soft drink. Can't complain about that! Four stars and a big thumbs up from me! I definitely won't be put off in the future!

Came here for my work Christmas dinner, the food was amazing. I had the traditional Christmas dinner and it was by far the tastiest restaurant turkey dinner I have ever had. All our meals were piping hot and everyone was more than satisfied. The strawberry daiquiri in the bar were delicious too. The dj was brilliant and the atmosphere was electric.

I have eaten in the restaurant before via a Groupon steak meal for 2, it was delicious. Steak cooked to perfection, pepper sauce was beautiful and a lovely bottle of prosecco to wash it down. Will definitely be back there again.

We were looking forward to staying at Ten Square, but we were extremely disappointed. On arrival, we discovered that instead of an upscale boutique hotel, we were staying in a construction site. The front desk was a temporary table in the middle of construction. To reach our room, we had to cross through construction. During the day, there was so much noise, that we really could not rest.

The hotel bar and restaurant were under construction, although somehow opened in a weird state every evening. Even the hotel entrance kept changing, depending on what they were doing to the lobby that day. On checkout, we noted how ridiculous this was and asked for compensation -- the "night guard" said he'd have the manager contact us. When that didn't happen, I wrote -- the manager implausibly wanted to "discuss" the issue instead of simply offering us anything. While I applaud the owners' goal of improving the hotel, doing so with paying guests onsite shows an appalling lack of hospitality.

Tim Y's review was spot-on: Leann was awesome! I think she was the most helpful hotel employee I have ever come across. Overall, I liked the Ten Square - the room was lovely, the location was great, and the service was excellent. My only gripe was that the free wifi didn't work well from our room, but we were able to get online without any problems in the lobby.
