One of the nights was priced at 178.99 which is dearer than every hotel except one in the area, pretty bad when the hotel is absolutely knackered & needs a full refit. Same piece of paper & leaves on the stair carpet for the 5 days we stayed (no I did NOT pay 178.99) so cleaner not great although she did manage to throw out a bag of our luggage which the receptionist had to fish out the bin. Staff are nice tho. Dumbarton one down the road much better but no views.

Superb location on the seafront at Helensburgh and Staff are welcoming and friendly but the rooms are not good.

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Or room looked out across the water and the evening view was great. The attached bar is big with lots of little nooks you can escape into. Nice whisky too.

Rooms are slightly dated, but large and clean and perfectly functional. Great location and plenty of free parking. 20 per dog is more than other chains and needs looking at.

Definitely the best located travelodge I've ever been to and I've been to many. The food and staff in the adjoining Commodore bar are second to none

The hotel needs refurbished. Worn room furniture. Worn hall carpet. Flaking corridor walls. Rooms needing painted. But the most disgusting thing was the bed sheets stained with human fluids! Absolutely not acceptable!

Nice staff and a warm welcome, however the hotel is very dated and could do with a re-fit. Commodore pub is a great place to eat and drink.

You get a room, yes, but we got a fantastic sea view this time, we sleep here, we throw bags of stuff from shops we've bought from. You get free parking, not to be sneered at. The lodge is connected to the Commodore, which has all the rest you need, food drink and a good atmosphere. Used by the locals and guests of the lodge, lots of tables, lots of good food and drinks.
