Services
The Spinnaker Hotel is a located in Gourock on the main coastal road between Greenock and Largs. The Victorian style building dates back to the 1920's. Previously known as the Fairlight it changed ownership and its name in the early 1970's. It's been in the same family ever since. The hotel expanded from 3 bedrooms to 9 in 1998 incorporating the adjacent residential property which also created additional dining and socialising space. The entire downstairs of the business was refurbished in late 2016 / early 2017.
Our surroundings are warm and welcoming, enhanced by the unrivalled views across the River Clyde. On a warm summers day al fresco dinning is an option (if you're early enough to get a table). Kitchen opens from 7:30am for breakfast until 8:30pm, and later at the weekend, for lunch and evening meals where our chefs provide a wide choice of dishes to choose from. From full cooked breakfast, soups, sandwiches, homemade dishes to quality seasonal cuisine hopefully there's something to cater for all tastes.
Every Thursday night, the Spinnaker Hotel hosts it's ever popular Quiz Night. It's free to take part and the winning team takes home the 25 Spinny Voucher (provided they don't spend it all straight after winning). Our Quiz Night is fun and friendly but it's also competitive. No mobile phones are allowed during the quiz.

Food was really nice.front of house was a disgrace. Bookd a table for 6.oclock. they couldn't find the booking. Staff had absolutely no dress code not even the manager. Young boy took our order wearing a zipper hooded top. Young girl gave me my cutlery which she had put her fingers on fork we were only offerd one napkin each the manager was walking about wearing t.shirt and jeans you would expect him to be wearing dress trousers and shirt they all look as if they just pop in of the street ad I says food was lovely but won't be back
