The BODMIN Mayors Ball was held here on 5th March 2022 (St Pirans Day - Cornwall Day) What can I say, everything from start to finish was absolutely amazing. Staff - nothing too much trouble, very polite & attentive. Food - just fabulous, lazy Susan tables all set out in our Cornish theme, looked wonderful. Accommodation - very comfortable bed, great shower, plenty of room (the suite) was perfect.
Breakfast - everything was great. Le and her team work tirelessly to keep up their great standards & we will back on the 5th April when they host our quiz night with more delicious food. Thank you Thank you Thank you

We found the Westberry by chance and are so happy. It has a welcoming reception area which is clean and fresh. Our room was very pleasant and spotlessly clean with a nice sized en-suite shower room with a big shower cubicle. Our beds were comfortable and the hotel peaceful. We ate in the lovely (& very busy) restaurant which offers a mix of Vietnamese/Oriental and European food.
The vegan menu is extensive with vegan versions of most of the meat dishes. My daughter is veggie and rarely has so much to choose from, but she was thrilled with her plant-based choices including prawn crackers which she has not eaten in years. My meaty food was fabulous too. The hotel is very close to town and an added bonus is "The Hole in the Wall" just across the road which is the old debtors' prison converted into a pub.
