Quaint, old fashioned rooms but the quality is sound. Really excellent breakfast with quality local ingredients. Staff were sooo cheerful, and made me smile every time they said, "Hi! You okay?" when I passed reception etc. Light-bites only in the evenings at the moment, but good food within easy walking distance for most tastes.

The staff were all so kind, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The first morning we werent hungry in time for breakfast and they kindly gave us some sandwiches in the room instead when we were ready, which were lovely. The 2nd morning one of us was under the weather and they took our breakfast order in the restaurant and brought it up to the room for us.
Again the food was lovely. Everything was clean and well maintained. Location was ideal to see Shrewsbury. Ample parking. Overall great place and service. Have to say again, the staff and Manager are so lovely. We will visit again if wanting to go back to the area.
