Fantastic hotel! Hosts were very friendly and welcoming; rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was amazing, gourmet. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional.

We had a lovely stay at Temple View Hotel. Stephen and Susan have created a comfortable and welcoming hotel in a picturesque setting. Both the dinner and the breakfast at Temple View were delicious, the room was very comfortable and nicely presented. We highly recommend visiting if you are in the area!

We were walking the Outer Hebridean Way and stopped into the Temple View Hotel for a coffee at the end of our walk. We were greeted by a rude person who informed us that they did not service non-residents. That is certainly understandable but there is a means of communication that could have left us with a more favourable impression of the establishment.

Under new management( extremely friendly and approachable), who are moving this place in the right direction, booked out constantly as its central to everything you can see on Uist, clean, tidy, contemporary style with some classic traditional touches, you'd be very lucky to stay a night here. Also the restaurant is on the Hebridean food trail, well worth a stop but book before hand or you won't get in.

Lovely Hotel, only stayed for a meal & beer which was enjoyable and reasonable. If you like Scottish Highland history this is a place to visit, May 1601 was a battle between McLeod's & Macdonald's and Trinity Temple with its own history only a 15 minute walk away.

Very well presented and cosy hotel! The rooms are very well decorated and good size, with all the amenities you need including a comfy bed! The staff including (June and Harvey the onwers) are very polite and helpful, Harvey does the cooking which is fantastic and very well portioned, not had anything off the menu I didnt love including breakfast. Fantastic hotel and a pleasure to stay there.

Great stop off on the way down from the ferry. Basic menu, well cooked. Swift and friendly service. Also worth noting it seems to be the only place for many miles to serve food after 6pm on a Sunday!
