We provided the DJ package for a Monica & Anthony's wedding. A brilliant venue that worked really well in accommodating for live music and an excellent party atmosphere! And one of our favourites in the area! The staff were extremely professional and friendly, the food was excellent and the venue was beautiful. If you're looking for a wedding venue for your big day, look no further.

Well this foodie staycation was everything that I hoped it would be! I booked it as a surprise for my wife's 30th and she (and I) were blown away from start to finish. The manor itself is absolutely stunning, we were lucky to get a sunny weekend and enjoyed the garden and the walks but I can imagine curling up on a winters day in one of the many cozy corner.

The staff were friendly, informed and incredibly welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us to make the stay that extra special. The food. I don't even know where to start, superb, both resturant. If you are thinking about booking this, do it, you won't regret it.

A lovely place but only one light switch worked in our room and that turned on 5 lights. The safe didn't work. To use the kettle you had to take it from a high shelf and plug it into a socket by the bed, the cable was too short. The radio media centre did not work. Food was very good, bed comfortable and bathroom good.

I stayed here with my wife for a wedding. Lovely room and amenities and excellent food. The service was impeccable - the airport taxi was taking a long time to arrive and the receptionist even offered to drive us himself if it didn't turn up soon.

An evening in the tasting room. Eight course tasting menu with wine flight. Lovely food, very interesting selection, beautifully executed with very well chosen accompanying wines. Superb quality and service. Very expensive, but worth it!

Well appointed and luxurious. Independent and family run; gave us a very personalised feel where staff knows the guests and their celebrations. All the restaurants are special, and Peel's was very memorable. So was the beef in Smoke. It is a good place for a weekend or three day getaway. Quiet and private, also intimate and comfortable.

Attended an afternoon tea. Building is very nice and welcome was warm. Room was ok but low sun coming through the clear roof was a distraction. Sandwiches were ok with a variety of fillings but the bread on the two ends of the plate had dried out. Cakes were ok but not extraordinary and whilst scones were nice, an espresso cup of jam was simply not enough. Staff seemed to disappear when diners were trying to get more tea. Overall, a nice setting but there is better value for money out there.

Had a lovely experience on the 2-night foodie weekend at Hampton Manor. It's a very unique concept, with a really relaxed and friendly feel despite it's grand appearance. What made this place stand out was the staff, who were friendly and welcoming from the minute you walk through the front door through to checking out. From reception to waitors/waitresses to semelier.

I don't know where you've managed to find them during a hospitality crisis but they're a credit to the Manor. The food both nights was really special and the bread is amazing! The ambience in both restaurants a lovely contrast and great you've kept lots of original features in the Manor. Some really special touches throughout the stay such as the open fire in the cocktail bar and workshop on offer (for additional fee). We ran out of time to explore any of the walks but the walking guide was another lovely touch. Keep up the creative work.

Perfection, could not fault a thing. Enjoyed cocktails prior to dinner at Peels in a snug bar with real fire. Dinner was exquisite and the corner table was comfortable and allowed for appreciation of the wonderful setting. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without making it feel overly formal. My new favourite restaurant

Beautiful property, but poorly organized. I travelled 3100 miles to stay here for my brother in-law's wedding. They closed the bar at 12 and the resident's bar refuses to serve because there is one random couple that hasn't closed their tab for dinner. I'm with 30 people, ready to spend a minimum of 1,000 and they can't be bothered to figure out how to serve us.

If you're looking for a place with a great view, this is your spot. Unfortunately, that's all they'll offer. I also spent 28 on 3 glasses of wine. But the view is wonderful. This property should get 5 stars, but because of the service it gets 3. I'll bet if the servers wages were based on tips like in America, they'd care a bit more.

A beautiful building in a beautiful setting. I visited this place one Saturday afternoon (unplanned) for a spot of tea and cake. Unfotunately there was no individual cakes or cookies available (shock, horror!) but they were able to bring us out a selection of small desserts from their afternoon tea range presented on a slate - how delightful! The desserts were very tasty and went down a treat!

The pot of tea was good too. I really felt at home here as I sat in the armchair by the fire. I was impressed by the staff and they explained each dessert in turn. A place I would happily return to again. A walk around the gardens will have to be done too.
