We went for a walk along the harbour and as a spur of the moment decision decided to visit the ticket office for Herm tours. Staff were so friendly and we caught the 9.15 boat within minutes of departure. The sun was just coming out and we ventured to shell beach. It's a small piece of paradise and I can't wait to visit again. We had the beach to ourselves. There are small kiosks/cafes on the island. We didn't have time to visit the puffins but we will definitely visit again.

Beautiful island and very friendly people. Great for a day trip from Guernsey with Trident boats.

White House, great service and food. Cottage, noisy plumbing and very noisy from room above. Mermaid, good food and service, great selection of ales and cider but surprisingly no tea or coffee.

A lovely island to visit. Walk the perimeter of the island and see all the beautiful beaches and coves. Relax after your walk at the pub and enjoy real ales along with a range of food. Suggest you book a trip as it does get busy.

Certainly worth a day trip. Nice food at the Mermaid Tavern and the shop was huge and had a great selection of souvenirs, amongst other things. We did the walk around the island which was a little dodgy (perhaps not great for young children) but was totally worth it and would recommend it.

Well worth a day's visit. A lovely island, with restaurant, bars and beach kiosks etc. great for families. Be careful of Herm burn though! the sun really does get strong.

Small but perfectly formed! Easy to navigate and access all parts of the island. Choice of cosy coves or wide sandy beaches, great views from the top of the island. A few kiosks available for drinks and snacks plus the pub and hotel near the boat docks. Some steep paths, but very child friendly, no vehicles other than the odd quad bike.
