Found this place when browsing for a quick one night stay in Winter Park. I think the hotel was built in the 80s or 90s but has been renovated lately but it isn't a "modern" looking business hotel. Either way, it was a wonderful suite with a great fireplace and a hot shower. The hot tub and sauna were both great and although the pool was cold, it was refreshing. Very polite and helpful staff and we will stay here again if we're in Winter Park again! Thanks!

First of all, the front desk person was very kind and friendly. The bed seemed okay. Everything else was horrible! It's not JUST that the place needs updating, I could handle that.the place was filthy! The carpet was nasty dirty and worn. It all needs to be pulled up, not sure cleaning it would even help. It seems like decades old dirt. The upholstery on the chairs was all coming apart.

It was extremely dark in the main park of room and the bathroom lighting was also very bad. There is no full length mirror or any other mirror besides the small one above bathroom sink. That may not matter to everyone, but we were in town for a big event that required dressy clothing, etc That said, it would've been nice to be able to properly apply makeup and check myself fully in the mirror.

My husband, who will eat just about anything, went down for the breakfast but wasn't able to finish it. He said everything that was supposed to be hot was cold.eggs, bacon, etc. I'm giving this one star and that's pretty much for the kind person at front desk. Also, the bathroom towels are horribly thin and small, kind of child sized. I'm an average sized person, so not sure how anyone of size would dry off. In my life experience, I may have stayed in one hotel that was worse, although the more I think about it, your place and the other may be pretty much tied

Our room was clean, staff was super friendly and the views were breathtaking. Breakfast was very basic. The pool looked nice, we didn't use it, and there was sand in one of the hot tubs. Would stay here again.

Beautiful views. Okay room. Bed and pillows need an upgrade. Breakfast, very disappointing. Not very many options. Had to raid vending machine to feed my daughter something, then run to store to get stuff for breakfast for the next day of our stay. Need more options like fresh fruit, dry cereals, etc.

This hotel is disgusting. There is no housekeeping still pulling the Covid excuse that they can't clean your room. You have to ask the front desk for fresh tiny towels. Let's start with the bathroom had a vent that had so much lint in it that mold was probably growing in it for years, we were constantly congested once we walked into this room. We had 2 rooms and it was the same in both.

The towels in the bathroom were the size of a hand towel and extremely rough. The shower curtain had mold on it. There was previous guess hair on the floor. The bathroom is very small. There was only shampoo conditioner and lotion in the room no soap. The front desk gave me a tiny Bar. The carpet is gross it's probably 20 years old and never cleaned. The decor is from 20 years ago.

When we arrived for check-in, we were informed the water boiler was broken so no one could check in. That is out of the hotel's control, so no issue there. However, what was appalling was the lack of preparedness and help from the hotel in finding different accommodations day of. The staff simply informed us everywhere was probably booked and to look at accommodations 30 minutes out.

Despite knowing their boiler was out and people would be traveling to check-in that day, they were not prepared to name other hotels in the area, had not called to check on availability, etc. It was very apparent they did not care about the situation they had put their guests in. They were not at all apologetic and refused to allow us to speak with a manager over the phone in efforts to figure out alternative lodging suggestions, ask questions about when boiler might be fixed such that we could check-in, etc.

After much scrambling (and being forced to pay significantly higher prices since we had to book rooms at a different hotel day of during ski season), we were able to find somewhere else and chose the remain there the rest of the trip as Winter Park Mountain Lodge had been so terrible towards us. I'm still shocked at how poor the service was at Winter Park Mountain Lodge.

As I stand here waiting for the elevator, I'm listening to the person working the front desk talking about how "stupid" the people who stay at the hotel are. (Saturday morning) The reason I had to go to the front desk is because the breakfast, which is supposed to start at 7 is now 45 min late. Oh, did I mention the hotel has no hot water? Well, except for the hot tubs. Which are so hot they'll burn you. (Those are broken too) Do not waste your money here! It seems like a bunch of kids (who don't care) are running this place.

It's really not a 5 star resort but this place is getting a bad rap from all the princesses out there. Hotel is definitely outdated and not a ton of amenities but the beds were good, they had a restaurant and bar and a stellar pool/hot tub area. It's location we superb for the price you pay

I have driven past this property over a dozen times. But I never opted to stay here given the scathing reviews. I'm pretty particular about my hotels. I stay in hotels about 50 nights a year. I actually really like this place. From the outside it looks nice. Well Lit with decorative lights. The ambiance is lively. When we checked in there were people coming and going. Waiting for shuttles.

Very alive. I liked the vibe. The room i got was huge. At least bigger than most rooms inside ski towns. Ill admit the furniture looked old. There was water damage in the bathroom. The carpets looked old.the mattress was not comfortable. But those weren't deal breakers. And the room was clean and smelled fresh. I enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna after the slopes. And Given it's proximity to winter park I'd say I hit a homerun here. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back

Loved our experience! It is a pet friendly place so we got to bring our dog with us. The rooms are very big and have amazing views! We got to see the fireworks from our window!

This place is filthy I refused to stay there and they refused refunding my money. No one could speak English to help me. After 3 hours on the phone with customer service I finally gave up. They say they will put you in a different room but the rooms just get worse. After 350.00 a night I would highly recommend going to an Air N B and rent a condo that's right in the village. Horrible horrible hotel! Shut it down or clean it up! Stop taking peoples money

Good room, great location, COVID-19 protocol? Not so much. They have it posted on their website that the pool, sauna, and hot tubs are closed due to Covid, but they're not enforcing any safety protocols to back up that decision. None of the staff wears masks, no one social distancing, so why close the hot tubs if you're not following protocol? Just mixed messaging- and from one customer service manager to another; you need to follow one direction and stick with it- otherwise you lose out on potential regular customers coming up from the city.

I will start with the good, and there is very little good here. Both gentlemen working at the front desk were very good, nice, helpful and friendly personalities. The small (32) TV worked and did have cable. Beyond those two things, I really can not find anything else positive to say. Everything is run down and just dirty. I wish I could add a few photos that would give you an idea of what things look like. (I was able to do this on my Trip Advisor posting.) Even the bed spreads are bad. (They had a few rips and one had a small spot.) I would not even put the furniture on a garage sale, it belongs in the dumpster.

The carpet in the room and in the hallways needed replaced 10 years ago. The elevator looked OK inside, but one was broken, so they were down to just one. The room is very dark at nights, but that may be a plus if you arrive late, so you will not know what kind of s dump you stayed in. The bathtub has mold in the corners by the caulking. There are things that can be done to keep a place up and maintenance done, even if some things need replaced, but that is not being done here either.

If it's the only place left in town to stay, I would just keep driving. By the time we got there, it was not really an option for us. I have no clue how they are a part of the Comfort Inn and Suites brand. It's the worst place I have stayed at in the past 20 years.

Nice location and the pictures look good online. The rate seemed to be too good to be true. and that was partially the case. Staff was wonderfully friendly and accommodating. But, a major renovation can't come too soon. Thread-bare furniture, peeling-up paint, crumbling concrete, and updates from the 80s. Just be prepared.
