Hebden Bridge is a notorious park, and we were late for our reservation. We called ahead and that would not be a problem. The menu is reasonable but a bit more diversity would be welcome. Starters do offer a good selection and our choices, duck baklava {which was, I am informed, exceptional} and soup. Then on to mains, a Ranch Salad, two burgers, sausage and chips {off the child's menu}, a Tabbouleh salad; I had a stake and ale pie.
The pie was {too} substantial but very tasty. And everyone else enjoyed their choices. All the food was well cooked, tasty and good sized portions. We all were too full for desserts. The staff were friendly and attentive I would highly recommend a visit, if you can get parked.

Just heading out of Hebden Bridge, this inn/bar/restaurant serves great food. I had the pan fried Fjord trout which was delicious and followed it with Queen's Pudding (it was Jubilee weekend). Both of which were delicious. Service was a little on the slow side but I was eating mid/late afternoon which could account for that. Highly recommend and hope to return to try something else.

Popped in here after a good walk. Sat out side nice and quiet round in the beer garden (midweek), looks nice inside to have a meal. Sat out side had drink and some chips and got a jug of curry sauce. It was not like chippy curry. I found their home curry to die for. Excellent. Bit pricey for drinks other that spot on

Great place. This is my second only visit. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere. Wide variety of drinks available, and the food is amazing. There is no parking space outside but there is close by. Its wheelchair accessible and has disabled rest rooms. All in all id definitely recommend that you visit.

The wife called in for a coffee whilst waiting for my son and myself traveling to meet her from Halifax. We met in the White Lion and browse the menu and decided to stay for dinner. The service was excellent and the order meal and drinks were enjoyed by all although attention to order was not received on the extras. The cost of drinks was average except for the non alcoholic drink which came more expensive than my pint of beer.

Had a mind-blowing Rib-eye Steak lunch with my Wife today. The Steaks were done to absolute Perfection and tender to the very last mouthful. That's 2 delicious Meals in 2 days ! Can't wait for our return visit in July 2022. Highly recommended Restaurant at the White Lion in Hebden Bridge. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Shaun and Sandra of WIRRAL.

I'm currently staying here for a night & having just had dinner was very impressed. I had duck spring rolls for starter which were delicious & steak lid for main course. Portions are very very generous & definitely worth the money! Our room is lovely & after the pub being initially busy when we checked in causing us to wait with a suitcase after a 90min drive the staff were lovely & aware how busy it had been made a lovely effort to say hello to us. Lovely mulled cider on offer at the bar. Would definitely go back.

This is a tricky one. Years ago this was a smashing, traditional, stone-flagged, multi-roomed pub, serving great hand-pulled beer. The good news is that the beer is still top quality, albeit pricey (3.50 a pint), and the roaring open fire was very welcome on a grungy day like today. Sadly though, the interior designers have been hard at work, and turned this place into a somewhat sterile experience with the emphasis more on food (expensive) and coffee than beer.
I guess a lot of people will love this restaurpub, but to me it's mock tudor, and not the real thing. It's the sort of pub that foreign tourists go in because the real pubs look a bit too intimidating. The stone flags remain, but the soul has gone. Having said all that, and call me a hypocrite if you want, I'd probably go here again at some point as the beer was good.but not before I'd been to a few other pubs in the area first.
