Very nice hotel in downtown Burlington. Easy access to Church Street, views of the lake and many other attractions. The rooms are modern, relatively large and comfortable. Big windows allow tons of light in the room. The restaurant below is nice and the food was for the most part above average. All local food.

Absolutely loved the location & atmosphere of the rooms! The local goods included in the room (soap, bath robes, toiletries, books) were a charming added touch! Staff were friendly & they even have little brochures of recommendations in all parts of the city. Would absolutely stay again if I'm lucky to be in Burlington again!

Just came home from a delightful two night stay at The Hotel Vermont. Unless you are looking for one of their suites, I recommend a corner king room with a view of Lake Champlain and the mountains beyond. Super comfortable bed, and well-appointed, easy to use furnishings. The common coffee, tea, water, and fresh fruit station on each floor is a much better way to provide this amenity than machines in each room. Juniper, the in-house restaurant and bar, serves a relatively limited menu, but the food was well-presented and very delicious.
There are several restaurants on either side of the hotel: less than a minute's walk. Above average service and care by all the hotel's employees. We strongly recommend The Hotel Vermont. We'll be coming back!

Not much good, just ok. I paid 400$ for a room with a small view, mostly of the parking lot next door. The wall was heavily marked with a single chair in the corner. I guess this makes it a suite? The bar here must be really low. The room is like a jail cell, stark white walls, no color, no art, no painting. The partly dead plant was a nice touch. The lounge is not attended by any staff, lots of managers walk by but you don't get service. I am used to 5 star hotels, but even for a Red Roof Inn, I'd expect better.

Our stay at Hotel VT for our "Babymoon" could not have been more enjoyable. The staff was incredibly accommodating to all of our needs - when we needed more pillows to create a more comfortable sleeping position for my wife they quickly responded with providing as many as were need to build a pillow nest :-, when asked for a room with a tub instead of a shower, they immediately transferred us and met us on the new room's floor instead of having us walk further and return to the lobby. The room was spotless. The food at both Juniper and Hen of the Wood was fantastic. Could not speak more highly of this establishment, its service, and its staff.

Didn't stay here, but went in for a breakfast meal. which was good, but not super substantial portions, and pretty expensive for fairly basic meals. but the morning cocktails were very good! And we were lucky enough to have caught the holiday craft fair in there, which was very cool and got several Christmas gifts!

Great bar and restaurant. The staff were very accommodating. Clean room with comfortable beds. Highly recommend upgrading to a room with a bathtub if possible. Was great to soak after walking Church Street in the winter! The Tesla destination chargers were close to the entrance and free to use for customers. Be careful of the low ceiling, you can hit your trunk if it opens high enough!
