Food was decent, service wasn't great and there wasn't any signs to show where the restaurant was. - Ended up guessing and found my way. Ordered a medium 8oz steak yet it was well done, still enjoyed it though. The onions rings were amazing and the main was very filling, but he staff felt very rushed to have customers in and out, no small talk, just orders and the bill.

The waiter came back with a card reader, assuming our payment method and had it towards me before I could even explain that we was splitting the bill. Gladly I didn't mind paying the entire bill, but it all just felt rushed. Didn't even get a thank you as I walked out. The place wasn't even packed. I would come again.

Stunning location. The staff couldn't have been nicer. My husband is vegan and the staff made him a seperate bespoke breakfast each morning. The reception staff were very knowledgeable about the local area especially Deborah who was delightful! The only minor issue was that the spa had no robes to fit me as a plus size woman. It would have been nice to have the same experience as everyone else but it is hard to relax when you can't cover up the same way as everyone else as you feel exposed. Other than that I highly recommend it.

Everything about this place is spectacular. The food is incredible, the service is second to none and the entire location is exquisite. The pub has the perfect country pub feel, with cozy nooks and decor. The outdoor seating area is beautiful, I especially love the gazebo for when it rains! I love the Three Horseshoes so much, I had my wedding here and we still return every year on our anniversary to enjoy the memories that we will forever hold dear.

Their wedding service is wonderful, they really do go above and beyond to ensure your day is everything you dreamed of. The spa is incredible. The hot tub is dreamy and the beach hut experience is surprisingly relaxing to someone who hates sand! The unique mill wheel adds extra charm, and the facilities are cleanly and high end. The therapists are soothing and experts in their profession, I hate being touched by strangers, but my massage here was the most relaxing experience I've had. Honestly, you will not regret visiting this wonderful location, whatever the purpose of your visit is!

We had a lovely spa afternoon here for my partner's birthday. I bought an afternoon package with a three course dinner. I felt it was a bit pricey but I'm a bit of a right arse and it's a spa! The spa facilities were great, sauna, hot stone room, hot tub and the staff were on hand whenever we needed. The food in the huge restaurant was lovely, I would of liked something fancier, I had steak and chips. The rooms were nice too, we stayed in the four poster room. All round great trip, would recommend

Brilliant quality food in a lovely atmosphere and setting. The lamb carvery here is top quality. I also like how they give buzzers out for the carvery and call you up when they're ready, this means you're never waiting in a long queue and there's always just enough fresh food when you go up. Wish it was a bit closer to my house or I'd be here every Sunday.

I attended a wedding here and stayed a night after recently and had a lovely time. The bar staff were very friendly and service was great. The food for both the lunch and buffet portion of the wedding function were lovely. Possibly the best cheesecake I've ever had! Room was well kept and clean, wasn't a huge fan of the bed but that's more of a personal preference. Views from the back of the venue were terrific, would definitely recommend for functions.

Stayed as part of a spa package deal with dinner and breakfast included. The spa is nice, no swimming pool and limited features though. The food was delicious but they were out of quite a few things on the menu and it's fairly limited anyway (no fish options available was a huge disappointment for us.) Breakfast was the same as any cheap hotel so not worth the cost.

The carvery for lunch wasn't very good. The room was fairly nice and the hot tub was small and cosy. Biggest disappointment is that other hotel room windows are above the garden hot tubs so we had strangers peering in which ruined the experience completely. Not enough privacy at all. Unlikely to rebook.

The best word I can use for this spa establishment is adequate. Firstly the good things, the food in the restaurant is lovely, the outside pool is great. Pricing is average for this type of resort. Things they could improve on include claiming to offer a two course meal when it is only starter and main course, an option of main and desert is not available apparently even though this is also two courses.

Quite substantial supplement are added on many choices of main course. The stone room is in near total darkness and not an enjoyable experience, in my opinion. Beach experience is pleasant but would not pay for it, if it wasn't included in main price. Overall in my opinion, 10 per person too pricey for the afternoon experience, and I am unlikely to return soon.

We were at a wedding here, the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, they truly went above and beyond. The meal during the day was amazing, I really enjoyed my pie, cooked beautifully. The portions were great, even my huge appetite was filled. The presentation was perfect, even including love hearts on the desert as an extra wedding treat. The hotel rooms were perfect, easily accessible for my disabled Grandad and plenty of room in our family suite. I can't recommend this venue enough.

Had a family meal tonight, compliments to the Chef, we all enjoyed our food but sadly our presence there seemed all too much trouble from the moment we walked in when we had to find someone to ask at the bar regarding our reservation. We were told where to go to wait to be seated. We stood there whilst, I assume the manager, finished his tasks on the computer before eventually recognising our presence and greeting us for the first time.

The food was great. Additional sauces were forgotten about until another waitress realised; we removed the hair from the tartar sauce without complaining. Our leftover food was put onto 1 plate and we asked for a doggy bag which never arrived even after asking twice. The bill was flippantly thrown down without any polite conversation. we weren't asked at any point if "everything was ok" "have you enjoyed your meal" and No, not overly busy, infact the staff were heard commenting to each other about not having anything to do. I've been in catering for years; care about your customers, they pay your wages. Sorry, won't be returning which is a shame because the food was good.

Compliments to the chef, but the service was rubbish. Had a meal this evening, the food was really nice but unfortunately our experience was let down from the staff. The service was quite slow & the really young members of staff weren't very polite or helpful. Had to wait ages for sauces to arrive with our meals (nearly ate 1/2 our meals before we had to ask again).

We asked to take our left overs home when we had our plates cleared by one of the young males, but he didn't not return with our doggy bag and didn't return to our table. Also the general mood & attitude was very poor. I just think the staff need to pay more attention to customer service & training the younger members to improve the experience as the food is nice with decent portions.

Stayed here as a package deal with hot tub room, 3 course meal, bottle of Prosecco, spa day and breakfast. One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had for very good value. All Staff were friendly and couldn't fault anything, will be back for sure.

Had a fabulous night at the Christmas party night, great food, great service from all the staff, nothing was to much trouble, the bed was so comfortable and breakfast amazing, highly recommend thank you

Went for a two night break which included the spa for the day. Although a spa day is not my kind of thing, the other half loved it, it was not too busy and had plenty of chance to use all the facilities. The food from the restaurant was also lovely including the breakfast. The only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars was that the room was a little shabby. Nothing too bad it was very clean and the whirlpool bath was amazing but the room just felt like it needed a little TLC.

Excellent food and service, stayed a month ago for a spa weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was fabulous, came for a meal today, food and service excellent, would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a brilliant belated 40th birthday stay with hot tub, 3 course meal, spa and bamboo massage. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and chill out time with my hubby. Would love to stay over again soon xx

We didn't stay at the location but we had one of the best meals we have had in a long time! We celebrated my graduation and the staff came out to give me a "congratulations" desert (which was delicious). The staff also went the extra mile and all signed the card. Great service, lovely surroundings and excellent food. 100% recommend.

A**** from the beginning to the end! The spa experience is very intimate, with so much character & detail in the setting. Jack was so friendly, funny and informative & he kept us topped up with our cocktails.. We both received a 25 minute treatments. The only snag, is the time went far too quick The room was clean, spacious and the beds were so comfortable.

Everything you needed was on hand. We ate in the restaurant at night, again faultless, the service and food was divine & the buffet breakfast the following morning, certainly didn't disappoint either. I can't wait to book and come back again. Such a beautiful family run place

What can we say about this place, amazing food, lovely spa, friendly helpful staff, lovely rooms. Can't wait to visit again next year!

A fantastic wedding at this venue, superb food and the previous day we had an excellent steak meal here. Great gin selection. Fabulous hotel room with whirlpool bath. Quiet setting. Plenty of parking and electric car charges being installed.

Just back from 3 days at this place. The spa morning was great, wow! that plunge pool is cold. but then you can heat back up in the steam room and sauna. The food was brilliant. A great location and quick to get onto the peaks

Fantastic and super relaxing 2 night stay with Spa access. The evening meals and breakfasts were delicious, my only feedback would be the restaurant area would have been nice to have some quiet background music on. The room was spotless and so comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Spa was the cherry on the cake, amazing facilities and theme, with an amazing Indian Head Massage. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Stayed here at the weekend as attended a wedding locally. I cannot recommend enough. The rooms were amazingly clean and sparkly, the cleaning staff work so hard. The decoration in the room was beautiful. Plenty of hangers and hanging space. The food was second to none! The portions were large but the food itself, was splendid. I had cauliflower and chestnut soup and I was blown away!

The staff - both bar and restaurant were fantastic! They couldn't do enough. Overall this hotel was one of the best I've stayed in! Thank you all for your hard work and to anybody thinking about staying here - do it! 11 out of 10!

What an absolute treat! We booked the sparkling hot tub spa break, I honestly can not fault it one bit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was magical, lovely and cozy, clean and lots of little attentions to detail. The private hot tub was so relaxing. The three course meal was delicious (choice of anything from the menu) I had the duck which was cooked perfectly, rich and very flavourful.

The spa the next morning was lovely, we enjoyed all the quirky features and the cedar plunge pool in particular. It was quite a small spa but had everything you needed. The beach hut experience was very relaxing, the warm sand was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a visit, worth every penny :)

Attended today with my partner. Highly recommended! Lovely dining experience. The pub has a farm house/rustic interior design feel, and the food was beautiful! Following lunch, we had a spa afternoon booked. We were greeted by a very friendly welcoming member of staff, (forgive me I didn't catch his name, but he had long hair and a beard) 5* service and makes you feel special, if this review gets to you, thank you and keep doing a fantastic job.
