A total gem in Mistley - amazing fish menu and delightful desserts, very prompt, attentive, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere with an unhurried approach to enable comfort and enjoyment if their delicious food. I had a sea food main the flavours were sensational, my desert was very memorable a warm fragepan and pear tart the ginger icecream and was very tasty. Due visit!

We stopped here for a meal on our way to catch the overnight ferry at Harwich. It got our holiday off to a great start. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere in the restaurant was a friendly mix of local people and visitors. We both had sea food dishes and they were excellent and accompanied by a wide range of wines. I would definitely eat or stay here again if we were passing by.

Didn't stay there but restaurant was very good. Food was lovely. Good choice of seafood and well presented. Friendly and helpful staff. Busy so you definitely need to book in advance. The window seat looks to have great views. Parking is a bit awkward and the road is your best bet as carpark is very small

Had lunch here with my son yesterday, on a Thursday between Christmas and New Year. This was my first visit and we were both very happy with everything. My son had a seafood platter, overflowing with lovely flavours and white wine. Lots of bread with oil and balsamic for dipping. I had a wonderful, interesting vegetable curry with red peppers, sweet potato, onions, roasted cauliflower, spinach and plenty of cashew nuts, all in a rich deep sauce that was nicely spiced but not too hot for me.
It came with an onion pakora, some chapatis and spiced rice. It was all perfect and the service was exceptional. The young lady who served us was very helpful and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble, and all with a smile (behind a mask, obviously!) We will definitely come again next time he visits.
