Beautiful location and very good facilities within the property! Had a fantastic family holiday staying here for 7 nights. There were 14 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 child plus two dogs and we all had a blast!

This is now clearly a private house. If it offers lodging, it's not obvious. Looks lovely though. 1 star only because it has 'private house' on garden tubs. so can't visit

Stayed with a big group for New Year. Plenty of space with places to sit and talk, read, play music or sit and enjoy the view. Lots of lovely little touches in the house, it has everything you would need for a relaxing holiday.

St Blanes is one of the most magnificent places I have ever had a chance to stay at. With the stunning scenery, picturesque walking paths and places everyone should visit (Mount Stuart) the spectacular house will make your stay in Rothesay even more special. My family and I were absolutely blown away with the beauty of the house and wonderfully designed rooms.

The house was spotless, there's a fully equipped kitchen, bar and games room and even a room for your dog (which we didn't use but I think it's a superb idea). We couldn't be more impressed with St Blanes and we'll definitely be back! Huge thanks to our wonderful host!

While staying at St Blane's house in Bute I was absolutely blown away by the house. It was massive, with room to spare even with the large group I was staying with, but still had a discernible air of comfort and country manor vibes. Our host Helen was absolutely great, the rooms were spotless and well decorated, and still we had the best time even though we hardly left the house due to the unfortunate weather. I would recommend any large groups considering booking up to do so, as you couldn't want for anything more! 10/10.

This is the most wonderful party house. Went with 14 friends for my 50th and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The house was immaculate and just huge. Every room has a great theme and you find more and more nice touches as the stay goes on. To have our own bar with musical instruments and karaoke was amazing. We settled in there for the night. Also enjoyed a really fab meal at The Kingarth Hotel.

The food and hospitality was superb. It's such a striking building and the inside lives up to the outside billing. The three rooms on the first floor facing the sea are simply stunning and what a view to wake ip to. We were a part of adults but the space and playroom for the kids is superb. The area itself is beautiful with beach and coast walks. We went for a run to St Blane's chapel and it was worth the visit - dates from 1200. Can't thank Helen enough for our stay. Everything we needed and a real charm to the place.

The building is beautiful and located in a similarly breathtaking location. The area is peaceful, scenic and full of tourist attractions. It sleeps 25+ people with several individually themed rooms. Some even have four post, queen sized beds. The service is top class, friendly, polite and on point for information. It's self served as a holiday let but the owners do a remarkable job hosting their guests. 11/10 rating, would return in a heartbeat.
