We feel passionate about serving and eating good quality food and we are privileged to be situated in an area boasting some of the best fresh seafood and locally farmed meat in the UK. Our Head Chef Scott and his team are dedicated to providing seasonal food, freshly cooked using the finest local ingredients wherever possible.
We enjoy sampling and collecting alcohol and our bar in itself is worth travelling for. We boast an enviable selection of Whisky, Craft Gin, Local Ales, Wines, Spirits and Liqueurs. We have a huge range of 56 Single Malts and counting, so whether you are an expert or new to Whisky tasting, we are the perfect hosts to help you continue or start your journey.
Just up the road from the Hotel is the stunning 9 hole golf course with outstanding views. Our trips cater for holidaymakers, friends of locals or people staying in the area and can be tailored to meet you and your family's needs. There are regular set departures times or you can book to charter the whole boat for periods of one hour.
We love dogs and your pooch is as welcome as you are! Our local area is doggie heaven with many coastal and woodland walks on the doorstep, so why not treat your dog to a holiday with us. Dogs are allowed in the bedrooms and all bar and communal areas of the hotel; the only area that dogs are not permitted is in the main breakfast dining room.

Great location, comfortable room with good bathroom. The food was excellent and the staff worked very hard to successfully accommodate our dietary needs. Wonderful staff that helped to make our Argyle bike trip smooth for this evening.

Best ox cheek I've ever had. Deliciously soft and tender. Fast service. Excellent fine dining on a wet off-season Monday night.

My wife and I had dinner here twice and both times the food was excellent. My wife's muscles were the best she had ever tasted.

Our second stay here. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful clean rooms. Gorgeous views. The food was fresh locally sourced and prepared with excellence. The scallops and black pudding in particular was a treat. Pet friendly they have moorings for guests. The owners went what I would say was above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A true gem. We will definitely be back!
