Everything a little disappointing for the amount of money spent. firstly I had a family room booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, got to the room and a double bed for us and 1 bed for kids, no information sheet in the room to contact reception so phoned from my mobile, to be fair quite apologic and someone was sent with a camp bed with half the springs missing on it, but our youngest made do.feed at night was all right but not great for the cash it cost. breakfast was from 8am to 11am on a Sunday.we were in the dining room for 10.30am.pure orange empty, bread basket empty and had to ask twice before they were replenished but cooked breakfast was good.all in all not bad but could and should have been much better for the money paid.but very clean and well presented.

Lovely place for meetings with friends or colleagues. Tasty food and beautiful home made scones. WiFi very good too. Didn't spend any nights there so cannot review the rooms!

Enjoyed my stay. A business trip so didn't get to enjoy or explore everything. The hotel is really nice, with delicious food. I think that they may have been understaffed, as service was a little slow at times. My room was nice and spacious and the bed very comfortable. I found the lack of an aircon a negative as I found it very warm in the room, despite turning the heaters off. I only realised that the heaters were on after my first night.

Great hotel. I was booked into here when visiting a supplier on Business. The staff were, without exception, lovely. Check in was cordial, the restaurant excellent and the rooms both "roomy", comfortable and clean. I had lunch, dinner and breakfast and all were very good. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

A Massive THANK YOU too all the staff at the Seagoe Hotel for helping make mine and Matthews wedding day so special. The decor, the food all the attention to detail was amazing. An even bigger thank you to our wedding planners Caroline and Paul! Especially paul who went above and beyond for us all on the day! It wouldn't have been the same without him! A* service from start to finish. He really is a credit to the Hotel! The entire day was just as we imagined it would be and more. We are all so grateful! All our love from Mr and Mrs Wicklow xx

I used this venue for couple of days teaching. Facilities were excellent, rooms spacious and well presented with fully functional equipment. Staff (Adam) could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Plenty of parking, coffee, tea, and dining facilities too. Deserves its 5 stars.

Cannot comment on the rooms as I was there for an event. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Bar service excellent - lovely bar staff. The toilets could have been checked and restocked more frequently especially as the night progressed.

Stayed at the hotel when I was in town for business and ate at the restaurant. Food and service were very good, had something with sausage/mashed potatoes/onion rings/gravy (can't remember what it was called, but it was good!). For my room, it was comfortable, clean, and well equipped (coffee, water, toiletries). I had a couple special requests from the front desk staff who were exceptional in accommodating me. Including printing out significant content for a meeting I had the next day.

Took my mum here to the restaurant after she had a scan at the hospital. I asked for the littles food to come out first - came out last. Service was slow, and bordering on rude. We were told on the way in we could eat at the bar or restaurant, with a kid I wanted to eat in the restaurant. Went in to the restaurant and the lady tried to force us in to the bar.

The food was nice enough. Good sized portions, tasty - mum loved her fish and chips. But after a lengthy wait to flag someone down for the child's ice cream and the bill I had to walk up and pay, child lost patience, not even the bribe of ice cream worked. Even when I checked out (at the front desk cause they only have one card reader) the girls had a talk between themselves and ignored me. Service and personality is everything. This place has none.

The Internet connection speeds are horrid. The staff said no one ever complained before. Ok here's my complaint. Oh and it wouldn't hurt to update the rooms. They are quite dingy. The food is alright nothing great. The menu could use a nice refresh. The wooden front door apparently rooted and there is caution tape around it and it has holes in it. Not the best place I've stayed not the worst though either.

Not a bad hotel! On arrival the receptionist was a little off-ish (doesn't quite have the personality for front of house) but rooms are spacious, with big comfy beds. All very clean and tidy. Won't be reviewing the breakfast which is included in the price (85 a night) as leaving early doors for work! Seems very quiet so should get a nice sleep!

Also sat down for dinner. Menu is good with plenty of choice - all appealing. Quite pricey though. I went for the chicken balti which was good - plenty of veg and tonnes of chicken! Rice also good with a lime and pear chutney. Only let down was the naan which was very shop bought! On to pudding! I shared the apple creme brulee with cinnamon doughnuts and caramel ice cream and the pecan and choco brownie with coulis and vanilla ice cream.

Amazing and also massive portions I've come away completely full! Would recommend if have to stay in area but as on work trip and not much atmosphere couldn't give it more than 3*

Not such a bad place, it is quite surprising the hole that is Portadown has a nice hotel without bars on the windows, I have never been to a big function here, apart from a Christmas Party night about 100 years ago where the food resembles school dinners at the best of times. In more recent years we have tried the bar snack and always found it OK, nothing spectacular, decent portions and a moderate if slightly tired looking menu, offering the standard burgers, bang bang chicken, cod and chips etc etc, its going to fill you mid week but it wont blow your mind. Great if your starving

I am writing the review on this hotel predominantly for the food. I have also stayed in this hotel and it is a very nice place. However, the Sunday carvery is awesome. You can get a 4 course meail for just 12.95! The food is excellent- plenty of choice for your starter, main and dessert- and everything is home cooked and tastes amazing. Highly recommended
