The Rutland is a Blackpool family hotel, situated on the North Promenade overlooking the Irish Sea. The Rutland has recently had a full refurbishment. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom, Television, Tea & Coffee making facilities, Hairdryer, Iron, Central heating and Free WI-FI. Sea-view rooms & cots for small children are available on request.Blackpool's famous attractions such as the Tower are only a short 10 minute walk from the Rutland or both the bus & tram stops are right on our door step. The Rutland is situated between the Imperial & Hilton Hotels.

At the Rutland Restaurant you can enjoy superb home made breakfast while overlooking the Irish sea. A hearty full English breakfast is served to order. Rutland Bar offers magnificent views of the sea-front with a pool table & wide screen TV and has a fully stocked bar with a wide selection of beers, spirits & wines.

I can't say enough good things about the Rutland, Kay and her husband have looked after me and my daughter so well this week. The room was spotless, breakfsst was lovely everyday and the bar area overlooking the beach was a delight. So homely and welcoming. We will 100% be back. We booked a 2 night stay here as a last minute getaway and we weren't disappointed. The room was spotless and the bed comfy. It had everything we needed in it. The whole hotel was spotless. It was great to have a bar too with a lovely view over the promenade and sea. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We had the full English both days but there was a continental option if we had wanted it. Kay and Adrian are lovely hosts and made us very welcome. We will definitely go back.

Really lovely owner and staff, we had a pleasant weekend here at the Rutland Hotel The room was small and cold upon entering, until we turned the radiators up and the fire on. then it was warm and cosy. There isn't a lift in this hotel. I would recommend this Hotel, the staff are great, the Breakfast is delicious. Only drawback is. lots of stairs up to the rooms, the small rooms and no view from our window. It situation is spot on for the main Part of Blackpool and the beaches etc. a 10 minute walk to town or a 2 min tram or bus ride. We give this Hotel 4 STARS.

Never stayed on South shore before and personally this was a better location for us as a family, and the tram/bus stop was within feet away. Hotel was beautiful and clean, owners and staff were very welcoming. Room was spacious with a nice shower and sea view. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Will definately stay here again.

Lovely hotel, family run & owners are lovely and so welcoming, nothing is ever a bother, very clean & tidy, breakfast is great and has lots of choices, the room was great, comfy bed & the shower is really powerful, bar was well stocked, tram and bus stops right on doorstep, fantastic views. Will definitely be back
