My Daughters wedding was held in the Barn 28/5/22 The staff where so helpful right from the start and the Bar Staff where absolutely brilliant on the night. Wouldn't hesitate to use this venue again. Good job and well done to Ruth and her staff. 10 out 10

Excellent service plenty of grounds for dogs to run good food clean and spacious room

I arranged a 90th Birthday lunch for my great aunt who lives in Lowestoft. I had to book several rooms of varying types and requirements over two nights. I was also managing the lunch orders. There were lots of amendments leading up to the event, even adding then cancelling rooms and meal for two people the day before. This was all taken in the stride of Ruth (the owner) and her team with no extra charge for last minute cancellations.

The hotel is "traditional" in a good way for me, though some may think it slightly "quaint". The rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great, local produce and piping hot. The birthday lunch for 13 guests was faultless Very nice grounds and great for dog owners whilst not disturbing non- pet owning guests. I would like to give 4.5 score really.

The only two very minor observations were the bar food on Saturday night was "reasonable" and the hotel itself is set back from a main road with no pavement so a car/ taxi (just 10 into Lowestoft on a Sunday) is required to get to local amenities

We had our wedding in their Barn 15/02/22 and the staff were brilliant. So accommodating and flexible, they were truly amazing and made the process of wedding planning as stress free as possible!

Private lunch party catered for with good home cooked food very reasonably priced and served on white linen table cloth and with lovely staff.

'Conference' room lacked a certain intimacy. Prefer staff without masks. Otherwise excellent.

Staff were quite friendly, food was very good. The surrounding areas are very picturesque Not bad for a country house

Great hotel, ideally situated to explore the Suffolk / Norfolk area. We stayed with three young children and our dog, honestly we could not have felt more welcome by the staff. Two very smart rooms, great breakfast included in our rate which was delivered to the room at our request - cooked fresh and perfectly warm. Our evening meals were taken in the Bar area where once again our dog was welcome to join us. Lovely food, extremely friendly atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this hotel, can't wait to return soon.

Nice if a little run down in places but this is part of the charm, room was clean and comfortable. Food is very good simple bar grub and the breakfast is very good. Dog friendly and close to amenities, would stay again if we were in the area

Fabulous place. exceptionally clean. comfy beds. brilliant breakfast (I hate cheap sausages and these were lovely) but the stand out part is the staff and how genuinely friendly and helpful they were. A great night away and an absolute bonus that they are dog friendly.

Was here for my nieces wedding last Saturday was very nice. A lovely Venue the Barn we were in evening time was really lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Found it by accident after spending the previous night in the worst Hotel ever and just had the best stay, lovely room the staff were excellent, friendly courteous and very efficient. Wanted to spend 1 night but ended staying 3. Food was also very good.
