As we are situated in the heart of Falkirk's town centre, and only a 5 minute drive from various contractor sites in Grangemouth and surrounding areas, we often accommodate contractors on both short and long-term stays. Contractors will be made to feel at home in our bar and are welcome to make full use of our bistro that prides itself on quality homemade food.
The Orchard provides affordable town centre lodging for business travellers, backpackers and leisure seekers alike. Each room has been designed for your utmost comfort, equipped with wall-mounted freeview televisions, tea & coffee facilities, as well as unrestricted free wifi. In addition we also have a full public bar open seven days-a-week until midnight, and until 1:00am Friday & Saturday.
The bar at the Orchard is a 30ft mahogany piece that once took centre stage at the famed Gleneagles cocktail bar. On it we serve a vast array of hand picked beers, sprits and wines, as well as over 20 delicious Scottish single malt whiskies. If it's not on in the bar, just ask a member of our staff and we will try our best to get it on for you!
At the Orchard, our chefs are passionate about making delicious, homemade food; using locally-sourced ingredients as often as possible. The menu includes a variety of traditional hearty British cuisine as well as a selection of international dishes. Our staff are committed to making your visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

The hotel is located pretty central. Right on the opposite side is a big shopping-mall car park, where you can park relatively cheap. Other pay and display car parks are within 5mins of walking. The high street with many different smaller and bigger shops is within 3 mins walking distance. The room was of adequate size for two people with a small fridge.
Next to the wall-mounted TV were 2 build in shelves. The ensuite bathroom had a toilet with a bidet attachment as well as a walk in shower. The best part of staying at the orchard was the bar in the ground floor. The staff was very nice and competent. The cocktails very very tasty and we were able to order cocktails that weren't on the menu. Overall was it a very pleasant experience.

Food was fairly good, bar staff were decent however excluding one who floated around the place in a daze. Guys were busy making drinks orders for tables and were being put under further pressure to assist bar custom due to this colleague drifting around appearing to do very little unless they absolutely had too. Eventually they did serve at bar but only after queue of frustrated customers waited for significant time. We'd have given 4 stars had it not been for this one staff member sadly.

Great for a nice night out. Very reasonably priced for location and hosts a great atmosphere. It's rustic look bears no frills but it's just perfect for a night out with family or friends Would recommend and I'll certainly be there again soon Thanks to the staff for all their efforts and giving us a lovely experience

This was my first visit to this hotel, It's above a busy bar & restaurant but you don't hear anything, you hear a lot more from the busy road outside and the whole room shakes when the big lorries and bus traffic passes by. I was working nights in the area and stayed here, I couldn't really sleep during the day with it. The place is nice, rooms were bright, clean and tidy as was the bathroom.
The housekeeper obviously didn't get told we were working nightshifts, still continued with the hoovering and shouting outside the door, even knocked on the door to see if we required room cleaned apart from this then it's a decent place. Its situated in the town centre and very close to shops, bars, takeaways and supermarkets etc. There is also a nice little beer garden out the back

The Orchard always has a good atmosphere and makes it a very pleasant place to go for food and drinks. Not many pubs I'd go to in Falkirk but the Orchard is always on my go to list whenever I'm up the town. Food is excellent and good selection of drinks, staff always friendly and helpful. I'd recommend anyone coming to Falkirk to give it a try.

We stayed here 17 days for COP26 meeting. Glasgow was booked up, but we were lucky to find Orchard Hotel. The location is great with quick transport to Glasgow and Edinburgh. It is 3.5 stars with respect to room and bed, but 5 star service, staff, food, and management. The restaurant was excellent. Laundry service was much appreciated. Zoe made the last minute scramble to Scotland a lot less stressful. Bartenders were very personable.
Service is their priority #1. Had fun trivia nights and good live music. If you are looking for a Sofitel, this is not the place. If you want to meet people and have good food and location and receive 5star service, then the Orchard Hotel is awesome.

Stayed here for a couple of nights for work. The bed was comfy but the sheets had stains on them probably from food (it was green) as well as a dirty glass/spoon. WiFi is provided but didn't reach my room and the TV had no signal. The hallway light came through under the door and you can hear everything in the hallway and others rooms if their TV was on.
Every so often the whole room would shake - maybe it was the slamming of a door. One day when I came back from work, housekeeping had been in but didn't lock the door so anyone could have gone into my room. I'm sure the bar/restaurant part was nice but the room wasn't the best. It was booked on my behalf by someone else.
