I never want to leave! We booked a 2 night stay in a Deluxe Room with View for a mini honeymoon and it could not have been more perfect. The room is so comfortable with a massive bed, and our room (12) had an absolutely stunning view across the harbour. The shower is incredible with lovely crisp towels and robes ready for you. The hotel staff are welcoming and kind, willing to help out with anything at all.
They really make an extra effort to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel itself is right in the heart of Fowey which is such a calm and laid back town, and has a great bakery just across the way. Dinner and Breakfast is also fantastic, lovely local food with the same wonderful staff. I honestly can't recommend Old Quay House enough, I can't wait to visit again!

Just had 3 days here as part of our honeymoon. Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We went for the deluxe room which was very spacious, comfortable and has gorgeous views over the river. The breakfast was lovely each morning and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and can't wait!

Wonderful hotel on the banks of the River Fowey. Room was extremely comfortable with a view of the river. Stairs led down to the en-suite bathroom. Service and food in the restaurant was fantastic. Staff were extremely welcoming and the food cooked beautifully. We ate dinner in the restaurant on our first night. The pork cheek was incredible! Cooked to perfection as it fell apart to the touch.
Great wine menu too. Breakfast was equally delicious with everything you could want cooked perfectly. A perfect stay in the centre of Fowey. Only downside is the walk to the car park, but once done you can forget about the car for a while and just enjoy everything that beautiful Fowey has to offer.

Our second visit here. A quaint hotel that hopefully is getting a refresh soon. Saying that though, the hotel is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is, in our opinion, excellent. The location is ideal for just walking around the local shops etc enjoying, well, Fowey. A tip if you stay. The parking is 5 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel, no issue for us as basically there is minimal parking in Fowey.
Phone ahead and give the reception your vehicle registration number, pull up outside (single width road), unload, collect your parking permit, and go park the car. Reception will look after everything whilst you're gone. We have had two excellent stays there, will hopefully be going back again.

Had a booking confirmed, both from booking.com and emails from the hotel and hotel has taken a deposit. 4 weeks before arrival the hotel cancels without warning stating booking.com hadn't updated my booking which is a blatant lie as I've been in contact directly with the hotel several times over the past few months. So disappointed at being treated this way - no apology and still have not received deposit back. Clearly customer satisfaction is not a priority for this hotel. Such a shame.

Beautifully renovated Victorian era house. Everything from the restaurant to the lobby and the rooms strike a perfect balance between comfortable and modern. The rooms were cozy and elegant. The staff was lovely, very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was also great, with modern dishes that were simple yet perfectly prepared. The only downside was the noise from the street especially at night with the seagulls.

Boutiquey(?) and stylish, great views if you are near the river end of the restaurant. Dinner 2 courses 27.50, friendly place, good for a party. No children under 12 at Dinner, ok for lunch. I go there when I'm in Cornwall. Perhaps not the polish or fine food of The Marina, but less expensive and good atmoshere friday and sat all year, most nights in summer. Lunch on their own 'quay' in the summer takes some beating, lighter lunch options.
