It's a MacDonald hotel, and has the amenities at a standard one would expect (generally pretty good). But it's the staff that makes this place, and they're fabulous.

What and absolute stunning venue to get married. The decor and ceilings are immense, the staff are absolutely lovely and the food is fantastic. They are dog friendly too which is a plus. Plenty of parking and the grounds are beautiful.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and good food. We came with a group and the hotel provided us with a beautiful 3 course meal with excellent service.

Lots of period features, nice location. Probably good as a wedding venue. Room 414 is a bad choice - right above the kitchen extractor fan, very noisy. Food is OK but not worth it - you don't mind paying for something decent but 35 steak was nowhere near as good.

Not perfect. The room upgrade was nice but noisy as it led to the main staircase. Food was very nice and I liked the whole hotel as being nicely decorated with lots of open fire places. The head waiter was excellent. Staff needs to be trained to comply with standards. I think in general MacDonalds Hotels would be good to get a "secret" person to show little things which would help to mark up most places. To THAT little extra.

It's a beautiful wedding venue. My daughter and son in law got married here last month. The rooms were lovely and the staff are brilliant there all just so nice. A lovely experience for one of my daughters weddings.

Lovely building and nice atmosphere. Nice large rooms. Friendly staff. Food was good but not a wide choice to choose from. No plant based only one vegetarian option. Quite expensive for what it was. I would recommend a visit.

Really nice hotel set in its own few acres of grounds about 5/10 minutes from the city centre. The food here is excellent, the drinks are average hotel prices and the staff are all really helpful and polite.
