Nant Yr Odyn Country Hotel

Had a wonderful stay at Nant yr Odyn. Travelling with a 6 week old baby, we were made to feel welcome and at home. Very cosy clean room, friendly chatty staff and the quite frankly the best cheesecake I've ever eaten in my life!

Food was amazing, owner and her staff brilliant, rooms clean, close to Newborough beach

I stayed there as part of a photography group for 2 nights. The staff are lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I'm vegan and they made a meal for me on the first night and came out with a whole menu the following night. Any of the dishes would have been wonderful. Vegans, don't be fooled just because there's nothing on the menu.

The rooms are clean and well furnished. It's quiet at night due to the location. And to top it all, Stephen, the cat is very friendly. I would definitely return if I go back to Anglesey.

Best local private hotel I have stayed in for years. Love places like this. Forget The chain hotels, you have to try this place. Lovely bar with local Ale and a good breakfast. Very easy to get to and find 15 mins from Holyhead.

This is a lovely hotel, very quiet, but very close to road network, very clean, with excellent host(s), great staff, a superb breakfast, fabulous evening meals and Guinness using the new fangled sonic foamer. Magic! Just the sort of place we needed to find. Anglesey is a lovely unspoiled place which is lovely to visit out of season. Andrew and Wendy Chape deserve credit for creating a unique environment which best suited our mood.

A wonderful oasis of tranquility and calm amid the noise and chaos of 21st century living. A friendly welcome, a good dinner, a comfortable bed and a hearty breakfast in the morning. An absolute delight.

We were made to feel welcome by the owners from the minute we stepped in the door at 8pm. Top floor room was lovely with everything you need available, even down to some very nice toiletries! The whole place felt homely, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast really nice and good selection, evening meal ab fab and surroundings lovely. And must give a mention to the friendly cat Steven! Stopped here for one night. Lovely spot. It is a little dated but spotlessly clean. The food is excellent and I was made very welcome.

Superbly situated just off the main A55 (yet still in beautiful, tranquil countryside) Nant Yr Odyn offers a wonderful base from which to explore the island. Wendy, Andrew and all the hotel's hard working staff (including Stephen the cat!) go out of their way to give guests a truly warm welcome. Quality is high, prices are reasonable and there is an air of charm about the place that you just don't get in many hotels these days. We only stayed for a few days - I wish it had been longer and we will certainly be back. Top Tip - ask Andrew about motorbikes.

A lovely country hotel, very comfortable with an excellent chef. Breakfast and dinner delicious. Owners and staff so helpful. Would recommend this charming hotel. Steven the cat is so friendly too!

I am eating here as I type this review. The place has a relaxing traditional feeling and look, when you enter the lounge bar area. The staff are genuinely very nice. The food was very well presented and familiar as if your mother had cooked it (if your mother is a meticulously good cook). The waiter staff are absolutely lovely and make the meal every bit as much as the food itself. The whole experience was perfect. This place is well worth a visit.
