The en-suite bedrooms are now fully refurbished with stylish comfort being the prime requisite. Hand made beds, lots of natural materials, plus the extras to make your stay special and memorable. All are non smoking and overlook the river to the Whitecliffe Common. The courtyard is packed with plants chosen for colour and perfume. The restaurant is bright and airy with lots of glass to draw the garden in.

We have been visiting Mr Underhills for many years, from before we were married to en mass with 3 boys and grandparents. Food, service absolutely excellent but it is Judy's expertise in the fine wine department that always leaves us with something fantastic to source for our own cellar. Rain or shine we have never missed a reservation despite the 45 minute drive, definitely an experience not to be missed.
