The Longcross Hotel

We stayed for a few days for a friends wedding. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was some of the best we had down there and thankfully dinner is only available to hotel guests so you are guaranteed a table if you want it. The beds are comfortable, the rooms in the coach house are a little dated for the price, but given the demand for accommodation in Cornwall this year I cannot complain.

Wonderful room with views over the countryside to the sea. The staff made our stay perfect, Jack and Will were very professional and special mentions for Arnie who was helpful, courteous, amusing, plus Jamie who was very professional, diligent, hardworking and nothing was too much trouble. Have been extremely well looked after.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, all the staff where very helpful, polite, friendly and attentive. One of most welcoming hotels we have ever stayed at. They made our stay in Cornwall a very enjoyable one.

Great overall experience. Service was the highlight so thank you to the staff. Food was good too and consistently so. Room was one of the cheaper ones and very average but not a surprise. Overall its the decor that let's the place down. A real mishmash of styles and clashing patterns, colours and mismatched decorative objects in the communal areas that fail to make the most of the grandeur of the underlying architecture.

Lots of items that looked like they'd been found and dropped in rather than chosen. Needs someone with a good design eye to spruce it all up but I heard its been sold so I guess that's exactly what they have planned!

We were told this was a good local restaurant and place to get a coffee or a drink but when we got there we were told they don't serve non residents. We thought after the lockdown they would welcome additional customers but not so. Disappointing.

The Hotel and the staff were outstanding and superb. We felt at home and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast and dinner were excellent quality. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will definitely be back next time on the next vacation in Cornwall. Love the place and grateful for the friendly staff (especially Arnold).

I stopped over at the Longcross hotel for just one night and I loved it. The view from the hotel it's amazing, the breakfast was very good (it has variety, it is tasty and fresh) and the staff was also absolutely nice and friendly. The hotel itself it's just beautiful, we loved both the building and the gardens. Everything seems to be put in such a way to convey a sense of peace and calmness. I would love to come back again.

Beautiful hotel! We just went to look round the lovely gardens but the Customer service in the actual hotel was very friendly and it would have been nice to have had a meal there but we didn't have the time. It had a lovely atmosphere and beautiful views from the terrace area. Took a photo of a very tall plant and don't know what it's called. I've never seen one before
