Quick overnight stay to be at Gatwick Airport in the morning. Room perfectly good. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Perfect for an early start at the airport.just 10 minutes drive away.

We had a really lovely stay at the Regency Hotel. True there is a lot of work to be done to bring it up to date, but the issues are being addressed. It certainly did not mar our enjoyment. The breakfast was second to none, good helpings, beautifully cooked and presented. Food served to us in the evening was also delicious. Prices all round were very reasonable. Finally, I would like to say a special thank you to the staff, Kim, Alison, Adam, and the italian lady who served breakfast on the first morning of our stay. They were all so accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable break. Thank you

Our family wake was recently held here. The fairly new managers, Alison & Adam were great (accommodating, helpful and friendly). The hotel has character and hopefully this will not be lost as changes are made. We wanted a nice quiet venue away from busy pubs and impersonal hotels within short distance of Surrey & Sussex Crem and this hotel was perfect.

The room was spacious, well presented and the food was excellent (covering all dietary needs inc vegan). It was good to have a private bar, some outside seating and ample parking. Feedback from friends and family has also been positive. Thank you Alison & Adam for making the occasion a success.

Bad smell of damp. Run down and food is in a fryer. There is definitely no maintenance going on. Place needs a re vamp. It has 2 stars as the rooms were cleaned daily. I work away 5 days a week. Have been for 17 years. This place is not worth over 40 pounds a night.

The people running the hotel very friendly and helpful. The hotel it's self is very run down ie: Rooms not 100% clean, heating not working properly, blind in bathroom see through at night, hot water not hot enough to use shower, mattress on bed stained and the springs had all collapsed, outside road to car park at rear of hotel had great big potholes, when you walked past outdoor swimming pool the water was filthy dirty so first impressions before you enter hotel are not good.

No good at all. Shower was terrible better off having a bath (not good 2 workers after hard day's work). Whole place is run down. Needs a lot of work. Swimming pool was green restaurant empty and beer flat. Not good when staff ordered out we didn't have food here because of price and didn't look appealing in dinning room. We ordered out Won't be staying again rather get a tent.

Under new management. My son is having a wedding reception here soon and this is the ideal venue. Rooms are very nice with a real charm. Staff are pleasant and polite. Nice quiet location.
