The hotel has twenty-three en-suite bedrooms, most of which are quite different, in keeping with the character of the building, but all have undergone extensive refurbishment, some in a more modern style and others retaining the more traditional feel of the hotel. Standard Smaller rooms, some with views towards the hillside at the rear of hotel.
The hotel is open every day to non-residents but please note that it is advisable to book ahead, especially for evening meals. Our menus offer an extensive choice of only the best and freshest of local ingredients, including fresh fish, shellfish, lamb, beef and venison. Our food is traditional but with a modern and contemporary flair.
We offer personal, professional service at all times, where attention is given to every detail to ensure your meeting runs smoothly. Our room hire rates include the use of any extra equipment you may need, such as screens, projectors, a laptop with wireless internet connection, flipcharts, and televisions with DVD players.

Live on island. Friends always commented on food/service as being good. Took family and friends for meal would not recommend as overpriced. Needed magnifying glass to find ingredients on plate. No wine list offered even though drinks ordered something you expect. Wonder if it was thought we were holidaymakers.

This is regarding restaurant only as we were not hotel guests. Starting with positives staff was friendly and helpful. The negative food was by far the worse I ever had anywhere. Chicken goujons were not edible they were so hard and dry we couldn't cut them, kids tried to use their teeth but unsuccessful as well they seemed to be reheated several times.
Chicken in my burger wasn't dry but it was barely cooked thicker parts were still pink, cheese on it was not melted big hard chunk of it was sitting in small pool of slightly melted one. Wife's fish was watery and felt not cooked enough. We managed to eat only fries and paid 60 for the pleasure. Avoid if you can - problem is, there is pretty much no other choice in the area. Other people toasties looked good so take that if you have to eat there.

I didn't stay in this hotel but booked a table for 1 to have dinner. Vegetarian and vegan options available on the menu every night! The falafel burger (vegan option), 12 pounds, came with French fries. Fries were home made, very tasty. The patty of the burger was extremely well dosed, as far as spices are concerned! In the vegan option, mayonnaise is replaced with guacamole.
Two pieces of bread ar provided while you wait for your dish. Butter provided. I said I wouldn't use it, and they replaced it with margarine. It's nice to be in an elegant environment in your middle of your week of hiking! RECOMMEND!

A fabulous hotel in a great location. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is simply fantastic, very good quality and generous portions. My room was large and well appointed with a comfortable bed. I could see the sea from one window and a waterfall from another. It's fair to say some aspects could do with a bit of attention, the razor socket was broken and neither my razor nor toothbrush charger would stay plugged in.
One morning after torrential rain and high winds there was a little puddle on one of the windowsills. But the very warm welcome and excellent service meant this didn't spoil my stay or warrant fewer than 5 stars.
